As i started walking away from the school I made sure to take deep breaths on my short adventure, i always took the same way and no matter how many years i've took it i still admire new things along the way everyday. i have my headphones in so i obviously couldn't hear anything over the music blaring at the moment but then i remembered i should add nicks number to my phone before i forgot but i obviously can't forget someone like him, i really need to stop thinking like that just because she showed me attention doesn't mean i should get attached it accidentally happened it probably doesn't mean anything. i put his number in and put his contact name in as "Mr.Nick☺️" i'm not gonna text him yet cause i don't wanna feel like a bother i'll wait till i get in my room. I continue walking noticing the small bits leading up to where i live, i refuse to call it a "home" or "house" due to every experience i've had here isnt so "homey" i guess you could say. i walked up the steps that led to the door i took a deep breath i slowly opened it revealing the kitchen and living room long hallway and stairs, i tried to sneak my way in so no one heard me but after awhile i didn't hear any type of commotion so i walked normally to the kitchen to grab a snack and drink. I sat in my bed room wondering what i could do then i remembered i could text nick so i did, i start off with just a simple hey and he immediately respond with hiiiiii

i continued to watch hxh and i slowly drifted off into sleeping

y/n-"hello?"
n-"hey y/n! what are you doing.. you sound tired did i wake you up i'm sorry.."
y/n-"no no no you're okay nick i'm not doing anything why, what's up?"
n-"oh um i got bored so i wanted to see if you wanted to go on a walk around town?"
y/n-"oh uh sure where do you wanna meet?"
n-" how about the gas station, we can get icees!"
y/n- "haha okay nick i'll see you in a few byee, be safe"
n-"hehe okay, you too"
he smiled, the made me feel warm:) happy even.
my parents decided they need a "break" from me so they left to go on a vacation but they'll probably be back soon since school got shut down due to covid.
i put on boxers and a hoodie, brushed my hair so i don't look like a mess and put on socks i also grabbed a pair of shoes to slip on when i get outside grabbed my phone and headed out my door.
Sliding down the hallway i made it to the kitchen and found so money in a drawer they leave there, more than enough to get a icee, i walked to the front door i opened it i payed more attention to my phone cause my favorite twitch streamer tweeted but i fell down the stairs.
"oww!"
"Are you okay?"
i look around to find where the voice came from, it was nick!
y/n-" nick?"
n- "y/n?"
y/n-"hiii, yeah i was just leaving haha"
n-" uh yeah i can tell heh you still wanna get the icees?
y/n- "yeah of course let's go"
nick helped me up but he didn't grab my arm, he grabbed my waist... did he remember? no no way he remembered. my face heated up.
n-" you okay?"
y/n-" oh yeah i'm fine "
he nodded and continued helping me up, when i got on my feet we walked to the gas station not to far away from my place i'm guessing he probably lives closer than i thought since he was walking by when i fell. hm cool.
i shivered even though i was in a hoodie my legs were bare nick must of noticed cause he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me close, i felt my cheeks heat up again. i really like that feeling.
he opened the door for me to enter in the gas station and i immediately ran to the machine, i filled my cup with (favorite flavor) and waited for nick to finish. we headed to the front and paid then walked out, he broke the silence by asking
n- " where do you wanna go?"
y/n- " i dunno, somewhere warm i'm freezing right now"
n-" okay, do you mind if we go back to mine i'm kinda cold to"
y/n- "i don't mind at all, we can start hxh!"
n-" great"
we continued our walk back to his, surprisingly his place wasn't to far from mine but still a good while. he lived in a apartment complex.
he opened the door with his keys and set them down on the table.
y/n- "you live alone"
n- " yeah, parents wanted to move so when i turned 18 i had enough money to get a small place here so this is where i am now i guess"
y/n-"that's nice" i gave him a smile as i looked around, it's was actually a really nice place
n- "my tvs in my room so you can lay down and get warm and we can watch netflix"
y/n- "okay yeah let's go" he looked nervous as he spoke so i gave him another smile to reassure him i feel comfortable.
we got to his room and it looked normal he had a gaming setup where he played minecraft probably, he had twitch on the screen which i recognized immediately but when he noticed he clicked it off, hm strange. i ignored it and he said i can sit on his bed and get underneath the covers if i liked which obviously i did i was cold and so was his apartment.
i heard the netflix intro and saw him scroll to find hxh he clicked it and i saw him sit in his gaming chair and i kinda felt rude for taking his bed but as i was i guess you could saw admiring him, god he was so cute and adorable, very sweet too honestly just a whole bundle of preciousness, i smile at that i guess he noticed i was staring at him and said
n-"hiii" to that i snapped out of it
y/n- "heh sorry i didn't mean to stare for so long"
n- "no don't be sorry i was staring to"
i felt my cheeks and body gave a warm sensation rub through it i guess he noticed
n- "partially admiring you"
this boy is adorable, i smiled very big
y/n-" i can say the same to you too"
n- "really what is there to admire"
y/n- "your cuteness"
n- "i can say the same to you too"
i smiled at him copying me
y/n- "i feel bad for taking over you bed, you know you can come lay down to i know your cold"
n- "it's okay, i will take your offer up though"
as he said that he go up and payed next to me i scooted closer to the wall his bed was up against so he had his room to stretch out.
i heard the outro to hxh playing i didn't even notice it was over already we continued chatting and making comments about the show as it went on and as soon as we noticed we were already on the 3rd episode, it was only 3 am too but i'm not surprised the shows are only 20 minutes long or so.
i yawned and closed my eyes, i didn't want to go to sleep but i was tired from waking and his bed was extremely comfortable, i heard nick yawn as well and asked
"i can drive you home if you want or if your parents don't mind you can stay here"
"their on a vacation right now but they wouldn't care either way"
"oh okay"
he turned off the tv and laid down to face me
"goodnight y/n"
"goodnight nick" i said with a smile and i slowly drifted off into a deep sleep.
