Dream plugs in his aux cord a plays some songs we all know others that we don't, me and nick look out the window while he rests his head on my shoulder and clenches my hand every once in a while to signal his affection towards me and george? he's still not done throwing a fit over what dream said earlier.
It wasn't really that long of a drive but being with each other the time lasted by fairly quickly even though it was a 40 minute drive there, listening to songs and laughing at our stupid jokes and talking about memories mad it seem like it was only 10 minutes. We started coming close to the beach when i notice the trees change their look and size, and not mentioning the girls in the bikinis on bikes with their whole friend group behind them. We finally find a parking spot, we didn't have to pay for, and got out our things and walked to the beach.
We set up our umbrella making sure the wind won't knock it over eventually and then sat down our towels. After a bit of chatting and relaxing dream and nick get up and try to drag me and George to the water but by the looks of our skin, we don't go out much and don't plan on it either. We obviously have 2 very different reasons but still add up to make a good one.
d- "please guys it's a special time, let's just have fun" dragging out his words making him sound needy
n- "pretty pleaseee"
g, y/n- "no."
n- "uhh fine me and dream will just go on our own date"
y/n- "ohh so that's what this is" i gave a little smirk
n- "i- uhh.. actually yeah it is."
i look up at them in shock and then over to George who's jaw couldn't be picked up off the floor.
y/n- "alright well i still won't get in the water but i will go on a walk with you down the beach"
nick got happy i agreed to actually do something nice and dream was just relieved ill eventually get out in the sun. The boy ran off the water like children would and sometimes played a little too rough like holding each other's head underwater for to long or horse playing very aggressively, you could hear them yell "chill out dude" from 20 feet away sometimes and their loud voice crack screaming.
I know George wouldn't say anything about my cuts or even notice them so i felt comfortable but still nervous, i slowly took off my jacket and placed it under my back so on the towel to keep it from getting dirty.
g- "look at you finally opening up and getting some sun..."
y/n- "what?" he end that sentence very quietly causing me to get concerned.
g- "why, what happened, when? and how come you didn't tell me? are you keeping them clean? when we get back let me help you... please." his voice getting more and more weaker as he drug out the sentence and grabbing my arms carefully to investigate them.
y/n- "ye- i, George please you don't need to worry.. i know that seems bad but i feel happier than i did when it happened. i'm with people i can call as close as family, even better than my actual one but it doesn't matter.. i'm happy here but if you feel the need to help me take care of them then i will gladly let you."
g- "please, please, please don't do it again. Nick doesn't know.. does he?"
y/n- "i promise you and if i ever feel in need of help i will come to you, but no he doesn't know and i really don't plan on him ever find out"
g- "pinky promise but he will see the other scars from past times, you can't avoid it.. It's gonna need a explanation one day.
i nod at him thinking of how the situation could unfold and ever possibility that could form from it, What's the best way to handle a situation like this.
i don't care to cover up at the moment but if i see nick heading this way then i will casually put the hoodie back on.
Me and George talked about our lives trying to connect a bit more and open up about some things here and there. Turns out we have some of the same interests and enjoy some of the same things, and have the same sense of humor as well. It was nice having a good conversation after a bad time.
around and hour later i could tell me and George were getting very exhausted from soaking up heat waves

We sat up and watched families play in the sand and others in the water, but nick and dream interrupted our calm moment by coming and sitting in front of us, i put my hoodie before nick could notice anything and looked up to see nick with a smile plastered across his face and his hair dripping wet slowly sliding down his face onto his nose then on the towel.
n- "go on a walk with me"
i smiled and said okay, getting up and reaching out for his wet hand to drag him along, once again seeing dream wink at him horribly but gives him a thumbs up as well. We were walking in a comfortable silence for awhile before we started talking.
n- "y/n?"
y/n- "mhm?"
n- "where do you see yourself in the future" i've never really thought about it till now, i just always thought i'd be repeating the same day over and over again like i did for the last 18 years but now that i have nick, i don't think about it anymore.
y/n- "well i've never really gave it much of a thought but if i were too then i know you'd be the first thing to pop up." i smiled at a thought of my future with him, i don't have any doubt about it either. Nick stopped walking cause me to stop as well since he was holding my hand, i walk up to him looking at him.
y/n- "what about you? where do you see yourself in the future?"
n- "with you." after staring for a second we kissed very passionately, feeling like it lasted forever, it sadly ended within such a short time.
y/n- "what are you saying?"
n- "i know it's only been a week but i can't help the way i'm feeling, you make me feel so much better and i really don't know how i would feel right now without you, so y/n.. would you like to be my girlfriend?" i smiled feeling the heat rush to my cheeks, and letting his words hit me hard crushing my emotions causing me to tear up.
y/n- "nick.. no hun-"
n- "i'm sorry i shouldn't have asked so quick, i should've wa-" i cut him off with another kiss making it longer this time, after pulling away he gave me a confused look which i chuckled at.
y/n- "i'd love to be your girlfriend"
n- "wait, really?!"
i nod and not even a second later nick picked me up and hugged me swaying me back and forth, yelling like he just won a MCC. i saw George and dream clapping in the distance and dream screaming
"i told you she'd say yes" so this is what was planned huh.
