My entire weekend was spent doing nothing but physical therapy with Ratchet. To say I hated it would be an understatement. I was out of shape from not running because of my knee, but everything he made me do required me to be in shape. I barely ever lasted five minutes.

The only good thing that came out of my physical therapy was the fact that I could now walk properly though not as well as I should be able to. I still limped a lot, but now I didn't have to use my crutches.

The school week has flown by as well and that was something I didn't know exactly how to feel about. Part of me was excited to finally meet the Autobots but the other part of me was terrified. I knew they were supposed to be good but out of the one encounter I had with their species only one percent of it had done anything good for me so I wasn't exactly sure what to do when I actually met them and I only had a day left to figure it out.

I groaned as my nuisance of an alarm sounded again. I had turned it off once and plus I was already ready for school, so I had no earthly idea as to why it kept beeping. Annoyed, I ripped the cord from the wall and tossed the small clock across the room. It hit the ground with a clank and I smiled, relieved that the noise had finally stopped.

I walked over to my body length mirror and examined my outfit, making sure it looked decent. I was wearing a beige ruffled tank top with a black leather jacket, dark wash blue jeans and my black flats. My hair was in waves down my back and my makeup was done to look slightly more natural. I smiled, feeling satisfied with the way I was dressed today.

After I finished staring at my clothes in the mirror, I walked over to my desk and grabbed my school bag. I put on a little perfume before heading out of my room and down the stairs into the kitchen. Everyone was sitting in their normal spots: Ron by the window, my dad beside my mom, and my mom beside Annabelle who sat in her high chair.

"Good morning," I chirped as I walked over to the fridge to take out an apple juice. I opened it up and took a sip, three pairs of eyes on me.

"Why are you in such a good mood today?" my mom asked as she shoved a spoonful of baby food into Anna's mouth.

"Yeah, and why are you dressed like that?" my dad pressed on.

I frowned and looked down at my clothes before looking back up at my dad. "Do I look bad or something?" I asked him.

He laughed. "Of course not. You look precious. I was just wondering why you were so dressed up," he said.

I scrunched up my eyebrows. "I'm not?"

"Do you have someone at school you need to impress?" he teased.

I smirked and took another drink of apple juice. "Definitely no one at school," I said with a chuckle.

I quickly glanced at Ron to see him smiling at me. Thankfully my father was completely oblivious to my little gesture.

"Then why are you dressed like that?"

I rolled my eyes. "I'm not dressed a certain way, damn it. I dress like this all the time," I exclaimed.

He chuckled. "If you say so. Are you ready to go?" he asked me.

I gave him a thumbs up. "Good, because your mom is taking you this morning," he told me.

"Not that I don't mind, but why?"

My mom rolled her eyes and I snickered.

"Because Ron and I have been given the day off and I most definitely do not feel like driving," he told me.

Ron rolled his eyes and I raised a brow.

Did he not just realize what he said? Day by day he grows more and more stupid.

"Are you on something because I swear you're just getting dumber," I retorted.

He looked at me. "What is that supposed to mean?" He asked, obviously offended by my statement.

I laughed. "Did you not just hear what you said? You wouldn't have to drive at all. You seem to forget that we have an alien robot living in our driveway. You're losing it, daddy."

I patted his head in a comforting notion but he just smacked my hand away.

"Are you ready, Lea?" my mom asked me.

I stepped away from my dad. "Yeah, I've been ready."

She got up from her chair and removed Annabelle from her high chair before grabbing her stuff.

"Let's go then," she said.

She gave my dad a quick peck on the lips and I mentally gagged though I was almost positive I made a face because Ron started laughing.

My mom bid a goodbye to Ron before walking out of the kitchen and to the car, I assume. I stood in front of my dad and he looked up at me.

"You're supposed to be gone already. Why aren't you?" he inquired rather rudely.

I rolled my eyes. "There's no need for hostility. I was only going to give you a hug goodbye but since you're being an ass wipe I'll just give Ron one," I remarked.

I walked around the table to give Ron a hug. He laughed at me again but stood up and wrapped his arms around me. If I could stay like this with him forever, I would, but I knew that I had to go so I released him and walked back around the table to stand back in front of my dad.

"Are you done being rude?" I asked him. A car horn could be heard outside. "Better hurry," I instructed.

He sighed and stood up, engulfing me into a tight hug. Had he squeezed me any harder he would've popped one of my lungs.

"Bye, Lea," he said as he released me.

I smiled. "Bye, dad. Bye, Ron. I love you lots," I exclaimed as I grabbed my bag and walked out of the kitchen and into the morning air.

I quickly limped over to the passenger's side of my mom's white Tahoe and got inside. She didn't waste any time taking off. We rode for a few moments in silence before my mom finally spoke up.

"So, who is he?" she inquired.

I gave her a confused look. "I'm sorry?"

She laughed. "A mother knows when her daughter is in love. You've been extra happy this past week or so. Who is he?" she pressed, a smirk on her face.

My eyes widened. In love? Was she crazy? I did have feelings for a certain person but I wasn't going to tell her who. .

"I'm not, mom."

She scoffed. "Oh really? Your attitude lately says otherwise. Trust me. I'm your mother. I know you better than anyone, even your dad. You can't hide it from me," she told me.

I sighed. "There's no one," I lied.

She shot me a quick look. "Okay. I believe you," she said.

She was a shit liar as well. I was beginning to think it ran in the family.

I just sat back and leaned my head against the seat. Before long she pulled up in front of my school. I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek before grabbing my bag.

"I'll see you tonight, Lea. Behave," she told me.

I snickered and opened the door. "I'll try. Bye mom. Love you," I said as I hopped out of the car.

I shut the door and my mom took off down the street. Many students were shuffling into the building, attempting to arrive to class on time. I laughed as one of my peers nearly fell running through the entrance doors. I could already tell today was going be a decent day or at least I hoped it would be.
