*I don't own Transformers or anything affiliated with Transformers. I only own my original characters and plots. All rights go to Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg.*

My bedroom door creaked open and I sleepily turned to see Ron walking into the room. I groaned and turned around, pulling the comforter over my head as I did so. I heard his footsteps coming closer before the bed lowered to indicate that he was now sitting on it.

"Go away."

He grunted. "You overslept," he told me.

I turned over to look at the clock. My eyes widened when I saw that it was ten twenty-three. Why hadn't my damn alarm went off? I groaned loudly and threw my head back into my pillow.

"Why didn't one of you wake me up?" He didn't answer. I assumed he shrugged. "Fucking jackass," I said, but the sound was muffled by the fabric.

He heard me though because he gave a swift flick to my cranium. I growled into the pillow and he chuckled.

"I'm not going," I exclaimed.

"Nobody's making you, but I assume you would want to tell Braelynn the news, right?"

I grabbed my phone off of the bedside table and tossed it at him. "They make those for a reason. Goodnight, Ron."

I could almost bet he was rolling his eyes at me. He laid my phone back down before standing up and ripping the queen sized comforter off of my body. I glared at him.

"Get up," he commanded me.

I rolled my eyes and did as he said. "You're annoying," I whined.

"And you're obnoxious."

I sat down in the floor and stared up at him. He rolled his eyes at me.

"Are you the only one home?"

"Precisely," he answered.

"Hm, okay. Would you like to pick out something for me to wear? I'm feeling pretty lazy."

"You're a pest," he said as he turned around and walked over to my dressers.

I watched him rummage through my clothes for about five minutes. He grimaced at majority of the pieces but soon enough he managed to find something for me to wear to school. He tossed the fabric at me and crossed his arms.

"Thanks. You're so kind," I smiled. He just stood there. "Are you going to leave so I can dress myself?" I asked.

He left the room without a word. I got up from the floor and closed my bedroom door before getting dressed. For an alien robot he had good taste in human fashion. He had picked out a pair of black leggings, a grey shirt, and a black knit scarf. It was quite comfortable. All I needed now were my black combat boots and I was set to go.

After putting on my shoes, I threw my hair into a messy bun. Doing my make up seemed irrelevant now, considering I would only be going to school for a couple of hours. I grabbed my school bag and headed downstairs. He was sitting on the couch watching TV. I plopped down beside him and he looked at me.

"Are you ready?" he asked me.

"Yes sir."

He smirked. "Sarah packed your lunch for you. It's in the kitchen if you'd like it," he told me and stood up.

I nodded and quickly headed into the kitchen. After grabbing my lunch bag, I went back out to the living room and headed straight to the front door. Ron followed closely behind me as I walked to the truck. The passenger's side door opened and I hopped in. Before long we were off.

Everyone's insane loudness was beginning to give me a headache. I tried my best to block them out and eat my sandwich.

I had arrived at school about half an hour before lunch, and now I was sitting at my table waiting on Braelynn to show up.

As I took one final bite of my sandwich, Braelynn sat down across from me, her tray in hand.

"I swear I'm so sick of waiting in line everyday for this shit lunch," she exclaimed.

I laughed and put my trash back into the bag.

"Where were you this morning?" she asked me.

I put a grape into my mouth. "I overslept and Ron thought it'd be nice to wake me up four hours later," I informed her.

"Well, that's nice," she chuckled.

"Anyways, I've been authorized to tell you that we've been granted clearance to the base on Saturday," I told her.

She smiled. "Seriously? That was fast though."

I shrugged. "Ron told me this morning when I was half asleep."

She snickered. "That's good though. Normally, I wouldn't like this kind of thing, but I'm willing to take a risk for this."

"I'm just glad I get to spend your birthday with you. Can't break the tradition now can we?"

She just smiled.

The rest of my school day was spent sleeping. That was a bad idea on my part though considering I had homework in every single one of my classes and I hadn't been awake to know what I was supposed to be doing.

I sighed as I shut my locker. I was still tired and I felt as if I could just collapse right here in the middle of the hallway. I bid Braelynn a goodbye before heading outside.

Before I could make it to the Ironhide, there was a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Trent standing over me. He was looking much better than he used to.

"Hey Trent," I greeted as I rubbed my tired eyes.

He chuckled. "You look rough," he said.

I yawned. "Sleeping all day does that to a person."

I really needed to get home and go to sleep. I could already feel myself wobbling and had it not been for Trent, I probably would've fallen over.

"Well, I just came to ask you if you and Braelynn would like to come to a party on Saturday?"

I scratched my head and thought about it. I had no clue why he was asking me to a party after my rejection, but it seemed as if he was really trying to make amends with me. It was very respectable in my opinion.

"Yeah sure. We have plans though, so what time?"

"Nine o'clock at my house. Everyone is going to be there," he told me.

I nodded. "Sounds good. We'll see you there."

He smiled at me before walking away. I sighed and continued on to the truck. After opening the door and getting in, Ron was off. I leaned my head against the window and closed my eyes.

"What'd he want this time?" Ron inquired.

My eyes shot open. "Um, he wants me and Brae to go to a party on Saturday."

He grunted. "And you're going?"

I yawned again. "It was my intention, but I have to see what Sarah and William say."

"I hope they deny your request to attend. I don't like Trent," he growled.

I chuckled. "Yeah, nor do my parents so you may get your wish."

He only grunted and I closed my eyes again. Why did I have to be so tired?
