The cafeteria was loud, much louder than it normally was. Students strutted about the room carrying themselves and their food to their table. Others sat down, tossing bits of food across the table to their friends.

Braelynn and I sat at our regular table by the window. I was nibbling on my hamburger while Braelynn was babbling away. I put my hamburger down and swallowed the little bit that I had in my mouth before looking at her with a serious expression on my face. She stopped talking and looked at me.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

I sighed. I had been meaning to tell her this for over a couple of weeks only I didn't know if I should. I would be completely disobeying my dad's orders, but Braelynn was my best friend and I would feel wrong if I didn't tell her.

"I've been meaning to tell you this for a couple of weeks. But, you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone, okay?"

She nodded quickly. "Is it something bad?" she pried.

I shook my head. "No. Not really, but I need you to keep quiet."

She just nodded again and I sighed, ready to tell her what I've been meaning to.

"Well, a couple of weeks ago I finally figured out what happened that day we hung out. I know that it was a Decepticon attack. The other thing I know is that I was saved by an Autobot," I told her.

She gave me a look and I took another bite of my hamburger. "An auto-what?"

"Autobot. Robotic aliens. They work with my dad believe it or not."

"And he never told you this?" she exclaimed.

I shook my head. "Him, Ron, or my mom. They said it would be safer if I didn't know though that didn't turn out so well. The crazy thing about this is that my dad's truck just so happens to be one of them," I told her.

Her eyes widened. "Seriously?"

I nodded. "And another thing; I get to meet him and the rest of them tomorrow after school."

She looked ready to burst. I laughed and finished the rest of my lunch while she had her little episode. I got up to throw my tray away and she followed behind me.

"Tomorrow?" she pressed.

I nodded. "Yes, tomorrow. I'll text you and let you know how it goes," I told her as I dumped the few remnants of my lunch into the trash bin.

"You better," Braelynn exclaimed as she placed her tray onto the dish area.

I placed mine on top of hers, the fifth period bell ringing as I did. I followed Braelynn back to the table to retrieve my things and we followed everyone out of the cafeteria.

"Just remember not to say anything. I could get in huge trouble for even telling you," I told her.

"My lips are sealed."

She skipped to her locker but since I already had my things for my fifth period class, I just climbed up the stairs. The classroom was already filled with students so I went to sit down in my regular seat beside one of the football players named Benjamin. After the tardy bell rang my history teacher, Mr. Tanner, began his lesson.

About thirty minutes into the lesson, I began to feel dangerously nauseous. I tried to hide it though. There was no way that I needed to miss anymore school. I took a deep breath and resumed my notetaking only to be stopped by a major stomach cramp.
