[Y/N’s POV]

“Today, we’re gonna compete!” Chiyu announced proudly.

“Compete? With who?” I asked.

“Roselia!” Chiyu answered in reply as she got up from her chair. “They’re our sworn rivals, and one of our goals is to beat them to a pulp.” she declared, shaking a fist in the air.

“That’s what you think,” Rei says as she enters the studio. “Roselia is an all-girls band, similar to us. Chiyu just thinks of them as her rivals, although they don’t share the same feelings.”

“Oh, then what’s the point in competing with them?” I asked, looking towards Chiyu.

“My point exactly,” Rei said as she crossed her arms.

“When we defeat Roselia, we will become the greatest girls band in history!” Chiyu exclaimed.

“So what are they like?” I asked Rei, completely ignoring Chiyu.

“They’re really nice. Although they may be serious about their practice, they can be cool sometimes. Trust me, you’ll like them.” Rei replied, also ignoring Chiyu. “Wanna go see them?”

“Sounds cool. Let’s go!” I said excitedly.

“Hey! Where do you think you two are going?” Chiyu shouted, running over and grabbing my jacket sleeve.

“Well, you guys seem to be done with practice, Rokka and Masuki went to eat ramen, so I thought I would meet your ‘rivals’,” I replied, looking down at her.

“Ugh….fine! But I’m coming with you guys!” Chiyu said as she puffed her cheeks and followed us outside.

[Live house CIRCLE, 30 minutes later]

“So, this is where they practice?” I asked, and Rei nodded in reply.

“Shall we go inside? If we’re lucky one of the bands might be here.” Rei suggested, pointing to the front door.

“Sure, why not?” I replied as the three of us walked in. The insides were pretty simple, a few tables, the counter, and a magazine rack. Their shoes were stacked on a wooden cabinet, with a sign that asked visitors to open their shoes and used house slippers instead. They were all arranged neatly in a row, and you could just borrow them. Rei and Chiyu seemed to be accustomed to this as they quickly opened their shoes and slipped onto the provided slippers, I quickly did the same.

“Welcome! Rei, Chiyu, and….whoever you are!” A lady with short black hair said.

“Hello, I’m (Y/N), and I am Raise a Suilen’s band manager!” I said as I let out my hand.

The lady gently shook my hand and said, “Hello, I’m Marina, and I’m the owner of CIRCLE! I guess you have read our sign, come on, head on in!”

As we finished our greetings, a band walked out from one of the studios. A beautiful girl with silver hair led the group, standing in the front centre of them all casually talking to a girl with long teal hair, who seemed to be enjoying the conversation. Then, there was a gyaru-looking girl with brown hair walking behind the teal-headed girl, talking to a short purple-haired girl. Lastly, a shy-looking one with black hair, silently keeping to herself.

“Are they Roselia?” I asked, tilting my head in their direction as I didn’t want to point.

“Yep! They practice here everyday! I admire their hardworking personalities!” Marina said, looking at them with a proud smile.

“Well, they look nice, should I go say hi?” I asked.

“Well, it would be strange to just say hello without any context, so I’ll go introduce you to them,” Rei said as she walked over to them, with me and Chiyu following behind her.
