Chapter 6- A very Poppin party

[(Y/N)'s POV]

"Where are you going?" Asuha asked.

"A nearby cafe. I'm going to meet some people." I replied, while tying my shoelace.

"Oh, alright. Be careful out there, ok?" she said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

"I will. See you later Asuha!" I shouted before heading out of the house. I immediately headed over to the cafe Lisa mentioned, feeling kind of anxious.

I looked down at the address and picture of the cafe Lisa sent me yesterday on my handphone, looking at the cafe in the picture, I think it's across the street. I squinted my eyes, waiting for the zebra crossing light to turn green. As soon as it did, I walked towards the cafe, surprised to see it was packed with people. Taking a closer look, I realized that all of the tables were taken by girls, were they the people I was supposed to meet?

I opened the door, and the classic sound of the bell rang as I stepped inside. The moment I entered, the noisy chattering that filled the air halted. A deep silence fell as all the girls who were once talking amongst themselves looked at me. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted Tsukushi and her band members. Who knew they were friends with Roselia? Roselia was also here, with Lisa and Ako waving at me. Then there were 4 other bands I have never seen before.

"There he is! (Y/N), they are the other bands I told you about!" Lisa said as she walked over to me.

"H-hello everyone..." I nervously said, waving. Some of the girls smiled and waved back at me, while some just continued staring at me.

"Haha! Ease up! Guys, don't be scared of him. He doesn't bite. So why don't we all get to know each other?" Lisa said. "Since we don't wanna overwhelm him, why don't we each take turns?"

"That is true. So, who would like to go first?" Yukina spoke up.

"Us! Us!" A girl with cat ear hairs and magenta eyes shouted as she stood up. "You guys are fine with it, right?" she said as she turned to her band members, and all of them didn't seem to mind.

"Right, you guys can go first, then we'll go around in a clockwise direction, which would mean... Afterglow is next, followed by Pastel*Palettes, us, then Hello Happy World, and Morfonica!" Lisa announced.

Everyone seemed to agree with this, and everyone except the girl with cat ears and her band members started talking to themselves again.

"So, you're (Y/N), right?!" the girl with cat ears said as she ran up to me.

"U-uh..y-yeah..." she was leaning in extremely close to me, which made me quite uncomfortable.

"Kasumi! Don't do that! You're making him uncomfortable!" a girl with blonde pigtails shouted.

"Ooh, sorry, I didn't mean it that way. Anyways, my name is Kasumi Toyama! Nice to meet you!" she said as she let out her hand. I gently shook it, taking a step back.

"Well, if we're doing self-introductions, I guess I will too. I'm Arisa Ichigaya, keyboardist of Poppin Party." the blonde-haired girl said as she stood up.

"I'm Saaya Yamabuki, drummer of the band! Nice to meet you!" a girl with brown hair that was neatly tied into a ponytail says.

"Hello, I'm Tae Hanazono, guitarist of the band! Pleased to meet you!" A girl with green eyes and straight, long black hair said.

"H-hello, my name is Rimi Ushigome, and I'm Poppin Party's bassist! I hope we can get along well!" a girl with short black hair and red eyes said.

"Right, nice to meet you guys too." I said, smiling. "So what should we do? We have the whole day to ourselves."
