Four Days Later
Taylor Swift's Point of View
I'm doing what it feels like I've been doing everyday for hours until my fingers bleed. I have nothing left except my guitar and Liv. I know I probably should have sold my guitar for money but it's all I have left of my previous life. Besides, it makes me money too.

I was reminiscing just the other day
While having coffee all alone and Lord, it took me away
Back to a first-glance feeling on New York time
Back when you fit in my poems like a perfect rhyme
Took off faster than a the green light, go
Hey, you skip the conversation when you already know
I left a note on the door with a joke we'd made
And that was the first day
And darlin', it was good
Never lookin' down
And right there where we stood
Was holy ground
Spinnin' like a girl in a brand new dress
We had this big wide city all to ourselves
We blocked the noise with the sound of "I need you"
And for the first time I had something to lose
And I guess we fell apart in the usual way
And the story's got dust on every page
But sometimes I wonder how you think about it now
And I see your face in every crowd
'Cause darlin', it was good
Never lookin' down
And right there where we stood
Was holy ground
Tonight I'm gonna dance
For all that we've been through
But I don't wanna dance
If I'm not dancing with you
Tonight I'm gonna dance
Like you were in this room
But I don't wanna dance
If I'm not dancing with you
It was good
Never lookin' down
And right there where we stood
Was holy ground
Tonight I'm gonna dance
For all that we've been through
But I don't wanna dance
If I'm not dancing with you
Tonight I'm gonna dance
Like you were in this room
But I don't wanna dance
If I'm not dancing with you

Holy Ground, a personal favorite of mine that I've wrote over the years. As I begin my next song, I see a 100 dollar bill fall into the case. I immediately stop my playing from slight shock. Whoever dropped it must be hella rich.

"Holy shit." I say out loud.

"I thought the song was called Holy Ground." I look up and see that it's him. That Joe dude from a couple weeks ago.

"I mean, yeah..."

"You never called me back." Joe says.

"I'm sorry, I've been so busy. It just slipped my mind."

"Where's your kid?" He asks.

"She's having a sleepover at friends house."

"So what you're telling me...is that you're not busy right now."

"Well, technically I'm playing to make money. Some of us aren't loaded with cash."

"Come on, let's go get a drink. I'll pay, my treat."

"I'm sorry. I need to work."

"I'll give you $500 if you come with me right now."

"Are you trying to hit on me by giving me money?"

"No, I'm giving you money so you don't have to worry about making money the rest of the night. So, you could either get a drink with me or play music for five more hours. How long have you been here? A couple hours?"

"Eight. I got here at nine a.m."

"Jesus. Anyways, what do you say?"

"Fine." I don't like the fact I'm saying yes to this. Going out with a stranger just to get money. Feels like prostitution without the sex. I take all the money and stuff it in my purse. I put the guitar in it's case and follow Joe.
