Katie's POV

Thalia Grace

That was the name of the girl I was asked to show around school. I was surprised that someone new was joining, that hasn't happened in a long time. Nothing exciting ever happened here. Anyways, I was walking to the Administration Office hoping that this new girl wasn't a stuck up princess that cared more about clothes and boys than things that actually mattered. I opened the door and smiled at the sight before me. There was a punk girl with short black hair and electric blue eyes standing in front of me. A boy with brown hair walked up and timidly asked her a question and I saw anger flash in her eyes. Boy, was she scary.

Thalia POV

I was sitting in the office of my new school that Zeus had forced me to go to. I was still grumbling about how school was pointless. I mean, how was learning about math and famous dead guys going to help me in the hunt? I was still thinking when a boy walked up to me and tapped me on the shoulder. My instincts kicked in and I grabbed his arm preparing to judo flip him but I remembered he was just a mortal and calmed down.

" Would you maybe like to get ice cream after school?" The guy asked, looking very nervous.

My eyes hardened and it took a lot of effort to stop my self from punching the brunette.

" No and don't ever flirt with me again." I replied glaring at him.

" bu- but I um" He stammered. He looked scared but he still didn't leave.

" She said no, now back off" growled a girl from the doorway.

She had wavy chestnut hair and grass green eyes. If godly parentage was based on looks alone, she would defiantly be a daughter of Dementer. She was wearing a black tank top with black ripped jeans and combat boots. She had on a puffy silver jacket and a silver circlet had been placed in her brown curls. Her outfit was almost identical to mine. I liked her.

"My names Katie"

"Thalia"

She smiled. " Come, I'll show you around."

We were walking towards my locker when Katie said, " some of my friends started a group called the Hunters Of Artemis. You want to join?"

Hmmmmm, the Hunters Of Artimis where have I heard that before? I thought

" I would love to!" I responded.

" Okay, so there are a few rules. 1. ALWAYS wear silver and black 2. Always wear your silver circlet 3. We are eternal maidens 4. Meetings are every day in the locker room."

The bell rang and we jogged to our first class.

"Hey Sara" Katie called to a girl with shoulder length black hair " I found a new recruit"

The girl, Sara, smiled at me.

"Welcome to the hunt!"

Two Weeks Later - Katie's POV

Thalia had told all the hunters to wait at the entrance of the woods after school. Along with me, Sara and the rest of the hunters Avery, Eleanor and Amber stood impationatly by the woods. It had been ten minutes and we were all tired. We were about to leave when Thalia burst through the woods with a bow and quiver in her hands.

" Hunters Unite!"

She called. Girls came out from behind the trees all with bows and silver circlets. We all stared at the group in shock.

Thalia stepped forward and reintroduced herself.

" My name is Thalia Grace. Daughter of Zeus and lintenuinet of the Hunter of Artimes (Pretened she said all of her titles.....) would you like to join the hunt?"

And that was the day I made the best decision of my life.

Also, please watch the video attached to the story! I thought it was a beautiful tribute to Thaluke and Thalia in general. I was crying at the end.
