Mortals Meet Demigods and One-Shots (No Mist)

This chapter is also dedicated to AngelOfSilent. She's a HUGE Tratie shipper and an amazing person so I wanted to dedicate this chapter to her.

Word Count: 1146! My longest one shot so far!

Krystals POV:

Hi! My name's Krystal. I have curly, deep brown hair and crystal blue eyes. My eyes are actually how I got my name. Anyway, this isn't about me, it's about the day I found out my best friend was a demigod. I know what you're thinking.

THEY DON'T EXIST!!!!!!!

Well, they do and me being the Percy Jackson obsessed nerd that I am, wen't completely ballistic when I found out.  Anyway, let's get started with the story......

It was early in the morning and my best friend, Katie Greens and I, we're walking to high school together. I had tuned her out completely while she rambled on and on about plants and gardening, nodding when it seemed appropriate. We put our books in our lockers just as the first warning bell ran. Our first class today was greek mythology which we were obligated to take so we didn't upset the gods. I did okay in this class since I loved the Percy Jackson books but Katie was amazing at mythology. The only reason this wasn't my favourite class was because we had a terrible teacher. She was really harsh and had cruel punishments. Like if your phone rings in the middle of class, you have to answer it on speaker. Unfair right?!?

Katie and I walked into class and sat down in the middle row. Ms. Eugine, our teacher, started talking about the twelve Olympians. 20 minutes into the lesson, I heard a phone ring and I looked over to see Katie reluctantly pull her phone out of her bag. She looked over at Ms. Eugine who grinned and nodded. You see, our greek mythology teacher hates Katie because she always corrects her.

Katie answered the phone and a male voice sounded at the other end.

(A/N: T is Travis and K is Katie)

T - Hey Katie - Kat!

K - Travis why are you calling me! I'm in the middle of class

T - Can't a guy call his girlfriend!

At this the class gasped. No one expected the shy girl to have a boyfriend. Frankly, I was a little hurt that she had never mentioned it to me.

K - No! what did you do?

A sheepish laugh echoed around the room, the noise coming from Katie's phone.

T - Well.... You know how Conner and I painted your cabin pink...... we did it again but purple!

K -  STOLL!!!!!!!

This got the class talking. Everyone knew Travis and Conner Stoll, they were famous demigods from the second Titan and Giant wars. That meant Katie was talking to a demigod!!!

T - Oh Ya... Kates? I'm about to come through your window chased by hell hounds in 3, 2, 1.....

Suddenly a boy with a mop of curly brown hair, sky blue eyes and a mischievous grin crashed through the window, fighting 2 large hell hounds. We all screamed and ran to the back of the class room. Katie however ran towards the monsters.

" What are you doing! They're going to kill you!" I screamed

Katie pulled out a bronze scythe and started slashing at the monster with Travis and minutes later the monsters were reduced to a pile of gold dust.

They both turned to the gaping crowd behind them.

" You all know me as Katie Green but my real name is Katie Gardner, Daughter of Demeter"

" Travis Stoll, Son of Hermes and boyfriend to Katie-Kat over here"

Travis said as he kissed Katie on the cheek.

" You'll know all our tittles if you actually paid attention in class." She said to all of us.

" I-I-I don't believe you" stuttered a very, very, brave boy, I think his name was Martin or was it Mathew? I'll call him M but anyway, that didn't matter, he was about to be a gonner.

Katie's normally serene emerald eyes, turned a shade darker and anger flashed in her eyes. Everyone stepped away from the demigods, they were scary. Katie flicked her finger and two thick vines cracked through the floor and wrapped around M's legs. He was hoisted almost 7 feet off the ground, his screams echoing through the class.

Then she turned to her boyfriend.

" Give them back their wallets"

" Awwww, but Katie" Travis whined

She glared at him and Travis whimpered before throwing everyone their wallets that they didn't know were stolen. The class gasped for what seemed like the umpteenth time that day. Then Katie smiled at all of us.

" Let's go Travis."

Katie said as she snapped her fingers and the vines loosened making M fall to the ground.

" Never question me again. Is that clear?" Katie said, her voice calm but menacing and terrifying. M nodded vigorously a look of terror written on his face.

They both turned and jumped through the now shattered window. We all ran to see how they survived since we were on the third floor. Just as I got there, I saw them end their jump in a somersault. They continued walking like they jumped out of three story windows every day and now that I think about it, they probably do. Travis and Katie- no Tratie walked hand in hand away from the school with Katie pointing out all of the flowers in the garden and Travis laughing at her rambling and pulling her closer with every flower named. Suddenly, as Katie was talking about the wonders of Coral Bell's she froze          mid-sentance.

" STOLL!!!!!! Did you really paint the Demeter cabin purple?!?"

Travis's eyes widened and he took off running. His screaming girlfriend right behind him.

And that was the day I found out my best friend was a demigod.

Did you like the chapter? Tratie is defiantly one of my OTP's along with Percabeth, Jiper, and Solangelo. Travis and Katie should defiantly become cannon and I ship them really hard so expect more Tratie chapters soon!

Also, instead of updating randomly, I am going to try to update every two days maybe even sooner! This is going to be a very rough update schedule because I know deadlines can be stressful and I wan't writing this fan fiction to be fun and relaxing.
