Mortals Meet Demigods and One-Shots (No Mist)

The Seven meet Alex and Magnus

PLEASE watch the animatic above. It's to the intro the the TLT musical but included Alex, Magnus, Carter, Sadie and many others. It's short but is honestly better than the movies combined......

Annabeth's POV:

The seven had decided to go for lunch since we were trying to be like normal teenagers- well, as normal as 7 half-gods who had saved the world could be. We had decided to go to the falafel place by Olympus since Hazel had never had a falafel before. When Leo found out he practically  dragged us here screaming about how horrible the 1920's must have been if they never had and I quote 'the best thing ever after McShizzle's supreme tofu taco's.'

Piper, Jason and Leo were walking in the front, all three of them laughing over something that Leo said. Frank and Hazel trailed a few steps behind them, talking and laughing with each other like an old married couple. Percy and I were in the back, swinging our intertwined hands enjoying the peaceful moment in our ever chaotic lives.

" Leo's love for falafels could rival Magnus's " Percy leant down and whispered to me

" I don't know Seaweed Brain, that's a hard tittle to obtain " I whispered back

Percy chuckled. I hadn't heard from my cousin since Percy and I had trained him last year and that was before he was supposed to go on his third quest and stop Loki.

Percy must have noticed my expression because he shot me a concerned look and wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

" Hey, Magnus is strong. He has a good crew. " He said softly.

" Oi! Love birds! C'mon " Leo shouted

Percy and I both blushed and hurried after the others.

After we ordered, which took longer than expected with Leo bombarding a very flustered Hazel with falafel toppings, we settled in a booth on the left side of the store. We started talking and I could almost imagine we were normal teenagers, ( besides the two empousa we fought who were pretending to be waitresses ) hanging out and eating lunch .

" BOO! " Someone screamed from behind me and a pair of hands latched on to my shoulder blades. I spun around, bronze dagger already in hand and held it at the persons throat. Laughter surrounded the shop. I looked to my left to see a green haired, child of Loki doubled over laughing and a very scared looking, grey-eyed demigod still with my dagger to his neck.

" I-I'd appreciate if you don't kill my boyfriend while we're out for lunch " Alex managed to choke out, still laughing at Magnus.

" You should've seen your face! " Alex commented once he had finally composed himself.

Magnus threw up his hand in exasperation.

" She's scary, okay! " Magnus exclaimed

" Don't I know! Especially when your usually on the other end of that dagger " Percy muttered

I slapped my boyfriend upside the head and he groaned before I turned to my scared looking cousin and his chuckling girlfriend.

I punched him in nose and he staggered back, everyone around my table winced but Percy, Alex and I just smirked knowing that he could use his power of Frey to heal himself.

" Nothing Magnus! " I exclaimed, all my anger pouring out of me " No, Hey Annabeth, I'm alive or I survived my epic death quest see you soon! Nothing! "

Magnus winced. " Ya, sorry about that.... " He trailed off, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly.

Jason coughed from his seat behind me. " Hey Annabeth, care to introduce us? " He asked

I nodded. " This is my cousin- and supreme doofus, only second to that seaweed brain, Magnus Chase "

From beside me the said demigod took a mock bow and we all laughed

" And this is his girlfriend? " I said looking to Alex in confirmation and she nodded " His girlfriend Alex Fierro "

The 5 newly acquainted demigods behind me waved. Jason, being the leader he is, introduced himself first.

" Jason Grace son of.... " He trailed off looking at me for confirmation. I nodded and he continued " Son of Jupiter "

" Jupiter is the Roman form of Zeus, god of Thunder and Lightning, king of the gods. " I explained and while Alex nodded, Magnus winced.

" Sorry, I just don't have the best experience with ego-inflated thunder gods "

" Same! " Percy exclaimed, nodding his head enthusiastically

We all chuckled and Piper introduced herself.

" Her mom's like Freya " I told the two Norse demigods and Magnus groaned again.

" Honestly dude how many gods do you hate? " Frank questioned, speaking for the first time.

" All of them basically " My cousin answered before Percy piped in again.

" Me too! Honestly dude were like the same person! " They grinned and high fived.

Piper groaned  " Another bromance?! "

We all laughed and Magnus and Alex sat down at our table.

" So.... Magnus, Alex whose your parent? " Jason asked

Magnus and Alex shared a hesitant glance before continuing,

" Ummm, so the Norse gods are real and I'm a son of Frey and Alex is a daughter of Loki and we're actually dead, but we went to a place called Valhalla which is kind of like Elysium for you guys except we can live outside the hotel were just not immortal"

Alex scoffed " That's a blunt way to put it. "

Frank was the first to recover form his shock " Wow... just wow "

" And I thought nothing could surprise us  anymore " Jason muttered                

It was quiet for a second but that didn't last long before we were exchanging stories of quests and life or death situations. Y'know like normal kids. We talked about everything from Percy and I's quest for the lightning bolt to Magnus's quest for the Sword of Summer, also discussing shared experiences from our quest on the Argo 2 and floor 19's time on their big yellow warship.

Before the two groups of demigods knew it, the Falafel shop was closing and after many death threats from Annabeth, they promised to see each other again. And with that, the Greek and Norse worlds parted, one group heading back to Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter, the other to Valhalla but both with new friends.
