Caleb's POV:

Hi! My name's Caleb Stone and I go to Goode high school. I have light brown hair, dark brown almost black eyes and I am captain of the football and basketball team. Unlike every other jock at my school, I actually go out of my way to be nice to people. 

My best friends name is Percy Johnson. He and I have been friends since our freshmen year. I thought I knew everything about him, until I realized Percy Johnson was a part of something bigger than I could ever imagine.

It all started on a typical Monday morning. It was two weeks since Percy came back. We were walking into our greek class, a class that we had to take since the gods revealed themselves. Percy was somehow amazing at anything greek based but terrible at all his other subjects. It was weird. We both sat in the back row as the teacher droned on and on about the Trials of  Odysseus. I heard Percy snicker at certain points of the story and when our teacher was finally done, she passed out worksheets for us to complete. 

Percy was done before I could even answer the first question. He walked to the front to give the teacher his worksheet but when he did......

" Peeeeerseus Jaaaaaacksonn, we meeeet again"  She hissed in a voice very unlike her own, the eerie sound echoing through the room.

Wait Perseus Jackson? Like the famous demigod? That's Percy Johnson! I thought

Percy stiffened and his hand flew to his pocket. As soon as he did that, our Greek teacher turned into a monster! She was wearing a ripped cheerleader outfit and had one metal and one donkey leg. We all cowered to the back of the room. 

At the sight of her Percy growled, pulled his special pen out of his pocket and discarded the cap. We all gasped as the pen turned into a 3 foot, glowing, bronze sword.

" Ready to go back to Tartarus Kelli" He said in a monotone voice as if the thought of fighting crazy, vampire ladies bored him. In a few slashes Kelli was dead and as she dissolved into dust, Percy yawned and turned to the gaping crowd.

"What?!" He asked 

" You just defeated that monster in like- seconds?!! And you're not even tired!"  A kid said incredulously.

Percy glanced back at the pile of gold dust on the floor as if he just realized what he had done.

He shrugged and said,

" All in a day's work."  Then he waved awkwardly " Names Perseus Jackson, you know my tittles. Now I'm leaving and never coming back! See ya!"

He shot me an apologetic smile and walked through the door and for once, Percy Jackson was right. We never saw him again.

I know this chapter was kinds cliché but I wanted to update soon since I'm trying really hard to stick to my two day update schedule. Stay tuned for the long chapter I mentioned earlier! Here's a hint, It's starring...............

One of my favourite characters and seriously underrated. There's also going to be Jasper and Percabeth moments.
