I began to stitch up his lip which took about ten minutes. Shawn held the light and continued to pass me supplies the entire time. Once I finished, Alex moved to the couch where he watched a movie with the other kids. Shawn's parents began making pancakes and everyone dispersed around the house. As I put my medical supplies back in the car, I felt two arms reach around my body and hug me from behind.

"Hey babe" I smiled as he squeezed me tighter. He reached his head down and kissed my shoulder.

"Lets go to the beach" he whispered into my ear. I turned towards him with a surprised expression on my face.

"Now? We haven't even eaten breakfast." I said. He smiled and began to chuckle.

"Come on!" he wined. "Nobody else is out there right now. We'd have the whole beach to ourselves".  With that I nodded my head 'yes' and we both made our way back up to our room. I picked my black triangle bikini and quickly got changed. He grabbed his blue swim trunks and pulled them up with one swift movement. I wrapped my cover up around me as we left, walking downstairs and making our way to the back door.

"Are you guys going out to the beach?" someone asked.

"Yeah we wanted to enjoy the waves before it gets too busy." he said. With that, we both walked outside and quickly skipped down the stairs. Once we reached the sand, I pulled my cover up off and set it aside. I could see Shawn start to grin as he reached for my hand. We made our way to the edge of the shore, feeling the cold water around our ankles. The waves were fairly small so we began walking out further into the water.

"Ohh! It's cold!" he yelled once we were waste deep. He pulled me out further until the water was almost to my neck.

"This feels amazing!" I said, leaning back to look up at the sky. Shawn followed my lead and we both watched the clouds for a few minutes, listening to the sound of birds chirping and the waves crashing into the shore. I was about to get up when I felt his arms underneath me, picking me up out of the water. He pulled me close to his chest and walked further out to where we were before.  Apparently that waves had carried us back closer to the shore. As the water began to get deeper and deeper, a grin appeared on his face.

"Shawn you better not-" I laughed, knowing what was about to happen. The water was deep, just touching the tips of his shoulders, and he was still holding me in his arms. "Put me down!" I chuckled, wrapping my arms around his neck. With that, he took a deep breath and dunked both of us underwater. I squeezed him as I felt the coldness rush through my hair. A second later, he pushed us back up and I immediately heard him burst out in laughter. "Shawn!" I screamed.

"Got you" he chuckled. After pushing the hair back from my face, I couldn't help but laugh too. Shawn let go of me so I could stand on my own but I quickly began to tread water.

"Babe, it's too deep. I can't stand here." I chuckled. I swam over to him where the water was just covering his chest. Reaching out, he grabbed my arms as I wrapped my legs around his waste. There, we stood together with the ocean completely surrounding us. He smiled and wiped the drops of water off my cheek. As he supported my lower half, I leaned forward to be closer to his head. With the bright light from the sun, his brown eyes almost looked green. They were deeply fixed to my eyes which traveled down to his lips. With that, I grinned and pulled his head closer to mine, feeling our lips meet together once again.
