The walk to the restaurant was short but we took our time. The boardwalk, to our surprise, was fairly empty so we took advantage of the open space.

"You look beautiful tonight." Shawn said as he twirled me around. "Rachel, I don't know if I've told you this but you amaze me."

"Babe!" I gushed, feeling the pink rush to my cheeks. "Thats so sweet!" I replied as I squeezed his hand.

"No, seriously. Even back at the house when you stitched up Alex's lip, I couldn't believe how calm you were. Its like you switched modes from fun Rachel to fun AND professional Rachel. You always know what your doing." he smiled.

"Hey, you helped me. You get some credit." I laughed.

"Oh what, for holding the light and passing supplies over to you?" he chuckled. "I'm sure my role had a huge influence on the situation" he said, sarcastically. "But if I'm being honest, I find it very attractive when you get all professional. Like in your office or whenever you talk about your job... you get this look in your eyes that I love."

"I do? What kind of look?" I asked.

"A look like you could talk about it for hours on end." he said, pulling me into his side. I was quiet for a second as I thought about what he had said. My lips curled into a smile as I turned towards him, seeing a smile on his face as well.

"I love you." I said. He squeezed my hand and we both fell quiet, looking at the view of the ocean. Shortly after that, he pulled me through the doors to the restaurant and we took a seat next to the windows. Classical music filled the air and the waitress came over to take our drink orders.

"I take a draft beer and a margarita for her" he grinned, watching her quickly write it down before she moved on to the next table. I smiled at the fact that he knew my go-to order.

About an hour and a half later we finished our food and made our way out of the restaurant. There were many more people on the boardwalk so we moved down to the beach. It was mostly empty since the sun had already begun to set. Together, we walked along the shore. I had my heels in one and and his hand in the another. We were quiet for a minute or two, just strolling as we watched the sky become pinker and pinker.

"Do you want to take a seat so we can watch the sunset?" he asked. I immediately nodded my head and we plopped down on a towel. I cuddled into him as he stroked his hand through my hair. It wasn't until it was dark that I had realized how long we had been gone from the house.

"Do you think we should be going back now?" I asked. He took a deep breath before nodding his head.

"Probably" he said. "But first..." I felt his hand lightly grip the tip of my chin as he turned my head towards him. His lips met mine causing butterflies to burst in my stomach. I sat up so he wouldn't have to reach as far down but he still leaned further to deepen the kiss. His hands moved around, one on the ground next to me to support his weight and the other pushing the hair out of my face. He took his finger and brushed it against my cheek then cupped my jawline to support me as well.

"Ow" I yelped, surprising the both of us. Our kiss broke apart and he drew his hand back from my face.

"What happened?" he asked. My wide eyes looked at him with confusion.

"I- I don't know. It's my jaw." I stuttered.

"Did I do something?" he questioned.

"Oh, no no no. I don't know why that just happened. I'm fine. Let's just forget about it, okay?" I said. He looked at me with a worried expression.

"Are you sure you're okay?" he asked.

"Very sure." I smiled. "Now, lets go back to the house." Within fifteen minutes, we were back with his family who were all finishing a movie in the living room.

"The kids are asleep" Shawn's mom told us as we quietly walked past the kitchen. We nodded our heads and continued to make our way through the house.

"We're going up." Shawn announced. "Goodnight everyone!" With that, we tiptoed our way to our room where he immediately collapsed on the bed.

"I'm so tired" he muttered as he rolled over onto his back. I chuckled and rummaged through my suitcase for a clean t-shirt to sleep in. I ended up grabbing one of Shawn's and moved towards the bed to get changed. Shawn noticed and propped himself up on his elbows to watch me. I quickly unbuttoned my blouse, not paying any attention to him.

"Ohh" he said. I looked up to see a grin on his face. He stood up and quickly came to my side, pulling the ends of my blouse off of my shoulders. I forgot I was wearing my new set, looking down to see the bra that Abby made my buy. Shawn ran his fingers along my back and pulled me closer towards him.

"You like?" I smiled. He nodded his head and I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him down so I could kiss him. His hands then traveled down to my skirt, unzipping it as our lips continued to meet. It dropped to the floor and he picked me up, placing me on the bed with a smile on his face. "I thought you were tired?" I said, giving him a dirty look.

"I'm never too tired for you, Rach" he responded, pulling his shirt off.

"Good" I reached up and pulled him down on the bed so he was hovering over me. His eyes traveled from mine down my body, ultimately ending up on my breasts which were cupped in the fancy red lace.

"I like those" he said with a grin. I laughed as I watched him stare at them with eagerness spread across his face.  "Rachel, you're so beautiful." he said. I felt his lips on my neck, right below my ear. I would tell he was being careful so we wouldn't touch my jaw, preventing whatever caused that pain earlier. As his lips went up to mine, I felt his tongue swirl in my mouth and we quickly picked up a rhythm.

"Oh wait-" he said, breaking us apart. He motioned towards the door and I knew what he was thinking. I climbed out from under him and hopped over, hearing a click as I locked the door. Turning back around, I caught his eyes once again looking up and down my body. A grin curled up from the sides of my mouth and I hopped back onto him, this time with me on top.
