Harry carefully opened the door, trying not to disrupt anyone. A small goblin sat on a long desk, shuffling papers and trying to make sense of the jumbled up words. Harry squeaked in fear when the door closed with a bang, making Griphook finally acknowledge his presence.

"Mr Potter," he said pausing to see Harry staring at his feet. "I assume you know why you're here?" He questioned cautiously, the boy was on edge. Harry stared back for a second, before registering what the goblin had just said. "No, not exactly," the goblin raised an eyebrow. "I didn't have time to read through the letter." He finished, looking as Griphook nodded. "You are here for an inheritance test. It seems you haven't changed much, however, there is still need for one, just to make sure. If some inheritances are left unchecked, they can be deadly." The goblin grimaced.

"Anyway, please leave 3 drops of blood on this parchment." He drew out a short dagger, red ivory staining the handle, running through it in swirls, dips and dives. The blade was ragged, like it had been used many times before, Harry assumed it had. He carefully sliced his palm wincing at the short burst of pain. He squeezed it, watching as his blood slowly formed readable words.
