Harry sat on a clean white bed, the pristine sheets firm against palms. He was presented with a floor length mirror, set down on the sprung flooring. He stood up, jumping slightly to propel himself forward.
He had been waiting in here to claim his heir and lordships, he had multiple whose bloodlines were thought to have ended. He had heard the process was fulfilling, and Harry was eager. But he also had things he needed to contemplate.
He hated Albus Dumbledore. That man had lied, tricked and stole his way to power, not caring what or who he hurt. And now the loyalty potion was out of the way, he was free. Free to feel, free to love.
Ginny. He thought and contemplated. She was like a sister to him, no romantic feelings whatsoever. He wondered if she felt the same. Probably. She was probably queer as hell too. (Harry was bisexual). She had been awfully close with Luna lately.
Harry's mind went back to who might be his mate, and what to do when he found them. He had one of the rarest bonds, but one of the hardest to enact. The bond depended on a love so strong only few could possess such, power. But he had potential. Harry just hoped that the person wasn't absolutely insufferable. He continued these thoughts, before he was interrupted by a young goblin pushing him out. He wished away his creature features, and sped up, he was looking forward to this.
He was faced with a large table, 10 shining rings laying lifelessly upon it. The goblin gestured for him to put them on, but Harry was hesitant. He cautiously reached out to the first ring, the house of black. It reminded him of Sirius. He had only been back a few weeks. Some people, Remus, his best f*cking friend, didn't even know he was alive yet. Harry wondered how he'd react.
The ring quivered at his touch. It slid slowly down his finger, pausing around his knuckle, before becoming inanimate, settling down. He had been accepted, and felt a rush of magic flow through him, the blocks coursing out his body. He felt much more powerful.
He repeated the process, until the table in front of him lay empty. Harry was practically leaking magic. His body was adjusting, most of his magical core had been blocked his whole life, in fact, most Wixes would have died, and he had many other blocks. "Mr Potter, you are free to go, although there is the matter of Albus Dumbledore." Harry grimaced, he had forgotten about that pig. He sighed, " Lead the way Griphook."
"Over 2 million galleons have been taken from your account over the last 18 years, by Albus Dumbledore." Griphook was frowning, as much as a goblin could, they had a constant resting bitch face. The goblin was wondering how longthis had been going on, and how it had been going on. Gringotts was renowned for its security, this was a massive breach.
Harry was astounded. Over two million. Two million. "Griphook, I want all my money back, but without alerting Dumbledore. I want him to be eased into it. He deserves it." Griphook suppressed a smile and nodded. This boy was proving to be more of a Slytherin than he let out.
Harry was having trouble controlling his creature. His eyes kept flickering, and he could feel his fangs pushing through. He gave up, casting a illusion spell, his wand couldn't do much now, and relaxed. A forked tongue slid through his fangs, licking the cool air. Horns that were previously buried in hair stuck through, but returned when Griphook returned, carrying multiple sheets of paper, gesturing him to sign. Harry stretched out his hands, cracking his knuckles, but knew it had to be done.
Harry walked out of Gringotts, late afternoon. He had been there for just under two days, but he had a few hours before sunset, so he decided to go shopping. He had a pouch of money from Gringotts anyway. He decided to go to Olivanders first, then to gat ice cream.
Olivander was on a rickety ladder, balancing wands on towers of buckets. Harry looked up, cautiously clearing his throat, the boxes looked like they could fall down any second. The old man turned around, peering at him. Harry's wand was still out of use, so he hadn't cast any glamours. They were uncomfortable anyway. "Harry Potter!" The old man gasped at each word, but knew he was correct, judging by Harry's reaction. "You've changed, did you finally come through your creature inheritance?" Harry looked at him. How did he know about that?
"Anyway, you'll be needing a new wand, I sense your magical core has grown." Harry simply smiled, of course Olivander knew. The man rushed to the back of the store, Harry could here the boxes falling behind him. He emerged out of the rubble holding an ebony black wand, etched with vines. Harry gasped at the sight of it, it was beautiful. He waved the wand high in the air, it becoming an extension of his arm. This wand fit better than his old one. "How much?" He asked, reaching for his purse. Olivander shook his head, stating, "For free, its not everyday someone comes and buys a wand capable of Merlin." Harry thanked him and left, his heart beating at the mans last words. Merlin?
