Draco tugged the carriage door open, sliding down next to Pansy.
'Draco! How was your summer? I heard Harry's gotten even hotter...' she trailed off at the end, giving Draco a look. 'What happened? You're gloomier than Snape' Draco looked at her, smiling slightly before his face fell back into a state of depression.
'I got my creature inheritance.' He sighed, leaning his head back onto the headrest.
'And? I thought they were super rare and made you ultra powerful or some utter crap like that.'
'Well, yeah, but not when you have a thought-extinct bond with your crush, who just so happens to be, wait the fuck for it, the one and only saint fucking potter.' He took a breath. 'But otherwise, it's pretty-' Pansy put a harsh finger to his lips.
'Hold the door. Stop the door. Break the door off and take a step back. HARRY POTTER IS YOUR MATE!' She half shouted, before getting up. Luckily Draco stopped her before she could leave.
'What are you doing?!'
'Going to see our beloved golden trio, we might as well make amends.' She stated, hitting Draco with a smug look. 'Besides, I need Hermione to help me, I need to research your creature. What are you anyway?' Draco stared, before stuttering,
'Elemental Veela.' But before Pansy could take off, he tripped her up with one of his wings, they turned sharp for touch not from a mate. 'No,' he said, 'we can do that later, right now, I am going to pretend that nothing has happened. You can go be study buddies with Granger later.'
And with that, the two sat down, waiting for the trolley lady to come, casually talking about everything.
