Chapter 28

Averys POV

I've never saw a very devastated version of Zachariah Daniels until now. His routine is like wake up, take a bath, eat, work, work, work, work, cry and sleep. He was like more like a robot for the one damn whole week. If he wasn't being scolded by Alpha Zeke, he would really be going to the Dark guild once and for all. We are so sad for him. He wasn't telling us but I think he blame himself for Niko. Maybe that's the feeling of losing your mate. You'll go crazy and eventually die from heart break.

"What are you thinking sweetheart?" my mate hugged me from behind and whispered in my ears. I was eating in the packs dining hall with Damien and Blythe. We have been sticking together for days now. We cannot leave Zach behind.

"I just felt so sorry for Zach. He seems so lost. Losing your mate is the worst thing you can ever experience." I looked at them as we were eating.

Suddenly, someone was running towards us. It's Mage Beatrix.

"Have you seen Alpha Zach and Alpha Niall?" she said in panic. We stood up immediately.

"Yeah, I think they are in his office. Why?" I told her and she ran towards the office. Curious, we followed her running. I'm sure she heard something from Arvin. We were quite sure that Arvin was with Niko.

"Alpha!" she startled everyone in the room. In the room were Alpha Zach, Zeke, Niall, Luna Laura and Mage Rince.

"What is it Mage Beatrix?" Alpha Zeke asked. 

"I have ... I have news from Arvin." Everyone stood up. I know I'm right. I was never wrong.

"What is it?"  Zach immediately questioned. 

"But we need white spells to crack it. I believe he made it like this so the Black Mage cannot decode this while it was floating in the air." She took out a cloudy circle ball from her bag.

"He made it like a transparent floating orb. It's like a voice recording inside. I've seen it floating in front of my door this morning. I can feel that it's from Arvin"

Blythe spoke up immediately. "Let me crack it open." She gave to Blythe.

"Are you sure you can open that up?" Alpha Niall said in uncertainty. Blythe just nodded.

We waited in anticipation as Blythe murmured spells. The orb is shining so bright until it breaks into the space of the office. A voice suddenly vibrates inside.

"My love Beatrix, I am sorry for leaving you behind. We'll be back again after this ends. I have something for you to do. Please tell them this things especially Alpha Zach. Alpha Niko is safer than all of us here. No one dared touch him. I know this sounds stupid but this was the idea of Niko. Actually after the fight we had against his cousin, he decided to really come here in Dark Guild. Though his original plan was not being dragged out, his plan was when the Black Mage takes their revenge; he will fight along with Zach but then he will tell Zach that he would surrender himself for the sake of everybody. Heroic act, I know, but at least he is not giving Zach a reason to blame himself since Niko surrendered on his own will. He knew Zach will come and get him but then Zach did not allow him to fight that day again so basically his plan messed up. Then the black mages went to the house when they didn't see Niko with Zach. He came with them wholeheartedly. So please tell Zach to stop sulking around. Niko can feel him here. Niko can fell his unstableness and he has hard time summoning his power."

So it was planned then, why didn't Arvin say a thing? I will really roast this fucking bird if he comes back.

"I also made this because I want you to hurry up. Niko's black magic is getting stronger and stronger every time. I am afraid it will get to his nerve and he will turn into a fully Black Mage, leaving all the white behind. Niko is special to Black mages because of the reason I cannot explain. And another thing, I really don't know what happen but.. he is pregnant."
