Scattered Stardust (JJBA PART 3 X READER)

Chapter 10

You wake up with a jolt, breathing heavily and sweating. You were confused at first as to where you were. You look to your left to see the strange red head sleeping next to you on a separate futon, covered in one thin blanket while you were covered in about seven. You calm down, your breathing going back to normal after the nightmare woke you up.

'I knew it was coming, but it's never felt that real. I felt everything. The blood, the wind, the despair. I've never felt that before.'

You slowly got up from the futon, careful as to not make any noise. You didn't want to wake Kakyoin, he had a rough day yesterday too. As you got up, you placed a few more blankets onto his curled up body, for him to immediately snuggle into them. You giggled a little, still quiet, afraid that even the slightest noise would wake him. You grabbed the tea pot and cups from the previous night and headed to the kitchen to clean them before Holly could, you would feel bad if she cleaned up your mess.

The rest of the house was silent aside from the rhythmic knocking of bamboo on a rock. It was super peaceful, so peaceful that you stopped in your steps to look at a family of deer by the small lake. Little did you know, this quiet you were enjoying was not usual in the Kujo household. The deer finally ran off as the bamboo hit the rock once again, scaring them. 'Ah, that must be what that's for. Kind of rude though, they just wanted to eat.'

You continued your walk to the kitchen, taking your time to get some fresh air and a change of scenery, after all the stressful talk of DIO yesterday, it's just what you needed. You could hear Avdol shuffling around in his room as you walked past. 'He must've just woken up, I'll go say good morning once I'm done.'

You had finally made it to the kitchen, happy to see that no one was inside yet.'I must have only barely beat Holly here. Yes!' You think as you fist pump to yourself. You walked further inside, only to find that the fridge was open. Confused, you walked over to it, as you got closer to the refrigerator, you noticed a pale white hand laying on the ground just outside the door.

You hadn't noticed that you dropped the whole tea set on the kitchen floor, shattering it and making a loud noise. You also didn't know that Avdol heard this noise and had walked out of his room to find the source.

Holly was unconscious on the ground, a pain-filled expression on her face.

You grabbed Holly off the ground and held her upper-half in your arms. 'No, no,no this isn't happening, not again please. She's such a nice lady why is this happening?' You touched the back of your hand to her head, immediately feeling her fever.

You were stressed, sad, angry, confused. You couldn't help her, you were weak and powerless all over again. The only thing you could think to do was call out to the last person you saw. 'Avdol. He was waking up so he might be able to hear me and help!'

"Avdol! Please Avdol hurry!" You scream out, your voice cracking and shaky due to the tears running down your face. You saw her as a mother figure, but you didn't want her to end up like your mother. Avdol runs into the room after hearing your screams for help. He drops to his knees next to you seeing you running your hand through her hair, rocking her. Your hair was covering your eyes, hiding the fact you were crying. You had suppressed your sobs when the man came into the room.

"(Y/N), I need you to stand back and hand her to me." Avdol says in a low voice, putting his hand on your shoulder. His hand is immediately slapped away, but not by you,by your stand. She did this often, appearing without being told to. Avdol looked surprised at your stand, she was very tall and buff for a woman, but her gender didn't stop her from being intimidating.
