The car ride to the airport was short and silent. You didn't particularly like how quiet it was, but respected everyone else. You found it eerie and not really helping the already stressful situation you were in.
The car you were in pulled into the drop off station for the airport as you unbuckled and hopped out behind Avdol. You felt uneasy and nervous about getting on the plane. It's not like you had never flown before, you had many times in fact, but something about this specific flight made you feel queasy, like something bad was going to happen.
You kept your thoughts to yourself as you boarded the plane behind the other men. The seats were in threes and Mr.Joestar had gotten two rows for the five of you. Joseph and Avdol sat together and the two other boys sat in the next row. You just looked at the two seats available with a deadpan look. Either way, you would be stuck between two unnecessarily buff men. You sighed and decided to sit with Jotaro and Kakyoin, knowing you would be comfortable with Kakyoin and that he wouldn't mind being squished together.
You throw your bags into the overhead bin and slide into the middle seat next to the two boys. Kakyoin was in the window seat while Jotaro had the aisle seat so he could stretch his longer legs. You sit down and start reading a small magazine as the plane takes off. You slowly feel the exhaustion from earlier take over, making your eyes shut every now and then.
"You know you can go to sleep right?" Kakyoin asks with a small smile. Your eyes shoot open, embarrassed that you had fallen asleep not even 10 minutes into the 8 hour flight.
"Yeah I know, I just don't want to be off-guard in case there's an enemy." You say, trying to wake yourself up a little bit. Kakyoin just looks at you with a caring glance before moving your head to his shoulder.
"Sleep, I'll keep lookout. You're gonna need all the energy you can get." He says while playing with a strand of your hair. You were surprised by his gesture but gladly accepted, soon falling asleep on his shoulder.
Jotaro POV
"JiJi, did you feel that just now?" I ask the old man. I could've sworn I felt DIO looking at me.
"Yeah, I did. He must be looking at us." He answers. I grunt in response, going to sit back in my chair. As I lean back I notice (Y/N) laying on Kakyoin's shoulder, fast asleep. He was playing with a strand of her (H/C) hair, twirling it around his finger.
'Why am I jealous? Do I really have feelings for her? I want that to be me, I want to be where Kakyoin is right now, but why?'
I didn't notice that I was staring until Kakyoin and I made eye contact. He gave me a small smirk as his gaze moved to (Y/N). 'Is this bastard just trying to get punched? Game on.' I gave him a hard glare as (Y/N) moved in her sleep, both of our gazes shifting to the girl. She slowly moved away from Kakyoin's shoulder towards mine. Her head landed on my shoulder with a soft thud, her smaller arms intertwining with my much larger one, trying to grip to something sturdy on the bumpy plane.
I sent an smirk at Kakyoin, his eyes full of jealousy. I almost laughed, it isn't so fun to be on the other side of it, huh? Our staring battle was soon interrupted by the old man speaking.
3rd Person POV
"What is that noise?" Joseph asks, getting up from his seat to look around. Everyone else followed suit, Jotaro loosely shaking off your arm from his.
"A rhinoceros beetle?" Jotaro asks, dumbfounded that there could be such a large bug on the plane."No, A stag beetle!" Jotaro says, loudly enough that you should've woken up. Instead of waking up like everyone thought you would, you remained still and fast asleep.
