Chapter 19: phoenix

Today went well I think. Blake was pretty sad when she realized that she marked me. But I resume her that it's not bad it doesn't stop me from loving her. She told me that I don't need to hide it because all the human can't see it except the Faunus. Which is a good thing the school doesn't have a lot of Faunus.

We went to our first class Biology. There weren't a lot of chairs as most of all of them was taken. I just hope that I can sit next to her. Scanning the area hoping to see two chairs but in my disappointment there wasn't. "I will take the second floor" Blake told me squeezing my hand it's our way to tell each other 'I love you' or calming each other down if something happen.

She looked at me for a second as she let's go of my hand and went to the second floor where there's one chair available. I went to the fifth floor where we always sit together. "Ah Blake And Yang is nice to see you join us" the teacher looked at us referring about yesterday. Looking down at Blake seeing she's blushing madly as she looks down at her desk.

The class started as the teacher started to talk about humans and Faunus body's. I couldn't play any attention what his talking. My mind keep wondering to Blake about yesterday. I just want her here next to me. Feel her hands on mine, feel her shoulder brush against mines. I reach in my backpack and pulled my phone. I just want to text her to see how she's doing.

I hide it underneath the desk not wanting the professor to see it.

Y: can you wear a hat? Because I can't pay attention to the professor by your beauty.

And now I just have to wait. Blake glance down at her backpack seeing her phone lights up but didn't pick it up. Really? She didn't even read it I open my notebook and went to a blank page. Rid out the paper and started to make it a plane  without forgetting to write some words in it. I aim it where I wanted to land then throw it.

The paper plane make a few flips before landed on Blake notebook. She grabbed it confuse and curious opening the pare seeing the writing 'how's my kitty doing?' Blake looked back at me with a smile as she shook her head. I point at the paper and whisper "read the bottom" she looked back at the paper seeing there a small note saying 'grab your phone' I watch as she place the paper airplane underneath her notebook then pulled out her phone.

B: Yang were in class.
Y: I miss you
B: it's been ten minutes it's not that long.
Y: can you just said I miss you too like a normal person.

I saw Blake giggled as she text back to the phone

B: fine I miss you too.
Y: hey when the class is over can we go somewhere?
B: Yang we are not gonna skip class again. We missed a lot
Y: come on we didn't miss that much.

Blake place her phone down as she watch the professor talk about the difference of the blood of humans. I rid off another paper and started to make airplane. "Miss Xiâo Long, if you keep throwing paper airplane. And distracting your partner. You are gonna get kick out of my class." The professor warned as he looked at me waiting for my answer.

My phone lights up as I looked it a message from Blake.

B: please put down the plane.

With a devil smirk I snap my finger making the plane goes on fire. Everyone around me back off not wanting to set themselves on fire. Then I throw the plane watching the little flame started to grow from the wind. It looks like a phoenix flying around with it's fire wings. The professor had enough as he grabbed a bottle of water from a student and soaked the paper killing the fire. Some kids whine angry and sad that the professor ended it. Some sigh in relief that they weren't set in fire.

"This is a class room not a park. You are here to learn not to play around like some five years old." The professor told to everyone as they looked down at their notebook not wanting to cost any trouble. "And miss Yang. When the class is over I want you to stay" great just great. Looking down at my phone seeing I got a message.

B: why you did it? Now you are in trouble.
Y: don't worry it's just a airplane nothing bad.
B: Yang you set the paper On FIRE it's a big deal. You might get suspended or worst expelled.
Y: look my little fur ball. Nothing is gonna happen just a little flame.

Blake looked at me full of worried but I just winked at her showing it's fine. The class went slow as the teacher talking some random things. I try to text Blake but she was to busy writing notes. The bell finally ring signaling us the class is over. Everyone left except me as I wait for the teacher to talk.

"Listen Yang. What you did was very dangerous. I know you have very strong ability but that doesn't mean that you have to set things on fire....you put all those kids in dangerous. I know you are a good kid so I'm gonna put you four week in detention." The professor told me giving a note that has the detention for me to give it to the secretary. "What why? It's just a small fire"

"A fire that could cost a student life. What would happen if it fall on one of the student and they set up on fire?" The professor respond putting his books back in his leather bag. "If they are cover in gasoline then maybe" i comeback but the professor shook his head no as he packed all his stuff for the next class. "I want you to go in this classroom when the school is over" that's was he's last words as he left. "Fuck" angry and frustrated I walked out of there to find Blake to tell her the news.
