Chapter 25: Dart

"Yang!" I kneel-downs beside her checking if the bullet when to her vulnerable part that could cost her to never walk or move again. "It's okay I'm fine" Yang try to move but only to groan in pain holding her leg. "Yang you are not okay," I told her the bullet when the back of her thigh forbidding her to move an inch. "Just hold on to me" slowly and carefully I picked her up placing her arm around my shoulder, supporting her to stand up. I can't carry her as she's too heavy and I'm too weak.

I regret all those times not going to the gym with Yang every day as she asks me to. Back then I just thought, what was the point to go training every single day, tiring yourself up, every morning you wake up sour from the hard work. So I didn't go with her as I got more problems like homework study to begin greater and help my people in need. Now I regret all if I went working with her I might be stronger and more skilled to help her. She could never be shot because of me.

We started to walk away, Yang tries to move her left leg trying to show me she can walk by herself or to move faster. That only brought pain as she stopped moving it letting me drag her. The worse part is the logs on the ground blocking our path. I wanted to move around it's safer but it wastes some time. but Yang considers to hop over it as it's faster but could damage her leg even more. "Yang stop you are hurting yourself" she ignores me getting to the other side. "This is faster" she whispers taking a few deep breaths trying to ignore the screaming pain signaling her to stop. "Yeah but it's also dangerous for you" I jumped over it to the other side where Yang stands there holding her leg.

"Come on" again I wrapped her arm around my shoulder and continued walking. "There she is!" A man screamed loading his gun my heart started to rise as I'm having a panic attack. Soon they fire I pulled Yang to the ground in front of me pressing her body to my chest trying to protect her from to bullet. I saw something hit the ground next to me where Yang was. If I didn't move her, she could be hit Again.

Looking closely it was a tranquilizer dart. Are they trying to make us fall asleep? Another was shot, this time it hit me on the shoulder. Everything started to turn dark as my body's turn to numb. "Blake...Blake" Yang called me placing her hand on my cheek. "Grab them" Yang picked me up with a groan as she forcing her leg to move and by my weight making it ten times worst.

She started to walk with me in her arms ignoring the pain in her leg as more blood started to escape. I heard like an electric sound like someone is holding a taser making that sound. "AAGH!" Yang fall to the ground to her kneels holding me tight to her chest. A guy was holding what looks like a metal staff in the end a taser. He tasers Yang again wanting her to completely fall. As stubborn she is, she didn't only to curse underneath her breath.

"FALL!" He tasers her again and again none stopped. I could feel some tears drop as I watched this happen. I watch as the girl I love get taser for protecting me, and I can't do anything about it. As the dart completed numb my body making it impossible to move. Something in Yang snapped that she reaching the staff grabbing it and broke it underneath her deadly grip. Flames started to appear around us blocking the man's way. Scared I could get burn but surprisingly I didn't. I can feel the heat but it's not burning me.

It's just burning anything around us as screamed fills my ear screams of horror, I see the corner of my eye a bright light flowing around. Looking it closely consecrating on it as blurriness disappears the light began clear. it's a guy running around as he was caught on the fire. The poor man began slowly as he falls face-first to the ground letting the fire completely consumes him. I can't keep my eyes open much longer as I hear screams in the distance people dying some are trying to save them. But only die in the progress of trying to help.

the last thing I heard when my eyes chose to close was a growl none human-like also none animal-like. It sounded like a lion roaring but then it started to sound deeper and more powerful at the same time that it sounded like a Dragon.

By the fault of the tranquilizer dart, my eyelashes began heavily. Shielding me from everything, blocking every sight for me to see.

Everything turns dark I couldn't see anything but the darkness for what feels for hours. It feels like I'm walking to an endless pit nowhere to go and nowhere to be seen. I wanted to scream for help but deep inside I knew it's useless as no one will answer it. The feeling of finding someone or some source of light faded slowly. Knew I'm trapped here forever by this darkness no light and no one around.

It was cold, cold like I'm standing in the Antarctic. In the strong winter blowing everything it's ways, Freezing every source of warmness it could find. I can't move no more as the cold makes my body weak taking away the only warmth I have. As well as the dark wanting me to just close my eyes and take a long peaceful sleep. Nothing to do as there's no hope, I obey the whispers.

Sitting down at the ground pulling my legs close to my chest, knowing it's aimless attempt trying to warm my chest area. It somehow feels okay trying right? Taking one last look around hoping when I look one more time something will happed. In my disappointment, it didn't. So I lay my head at my arms and close my eyes letting the darkness consume me.

It was quite like I liked. No noise where made no loud shoutings, it was completely perfect. All the quietness was soon over by this loud wind, it wasn't coming from the sides. It was coming from right above me picking an eye open to see a little light on the ground. Choosing to see who is the cost of all of this, everywhere was still dark but there's some little source of light above me.

Looking up seeing a beam of light like the sun shining down at me. Knowing well it's not the sun it's something else causing this to happen. The beam of light seems to be getting closer and closer by the second. Struggling to get up as I let the coldness took completely control of my body. It was hard for me to get up but in slowly I succeeded. Moving away from the light as it gets closer I could see it's no light. It's the same dragon I saw before. It flys down to the ground with a huge Thump shaking the earth underneath it's feet.

Soon it touches the ground all the darkness seems to disappear. Now the place was filled with light shining bright no darkness insight. The coldness disappears as well replace by warmth in my body. The dragon looked down at me meeting my eyes with it's purple. It purred well it's at least tried, it sounded similar as a cat purring. But it's more louder and sounded more like a growl but there's a hint of softness in it. Telling me it does not want to be sound aggressive as it not trying to be.

It walked around me like scanning me? I could not figure it out as it's hard to read the expression of this majestic creature. It purred again stopping moving as it's now in front of me. It took me some time to look at it's body. It's yellow scales shines brighter making it looks like it's the beam of light. The huge winds flapped at it's back trying to shake something off. as it does some few times looked it has more than just two winds. the real ones and the fire that it appeared it has an extra one.

Looking down at it's leg seeing it's mighty claw what looks like could slash you in half. Looking back at it's head seeing it's long horn. It looks quite familiar, it looks like one of those horns that Yang has when we...uh reunited. Sliding down to look at it's eyes it stares back at me. The same color as Yang that brings love in my heart.

Then everything vanished like it was a whole dream. I open my eyes to see a white fabric above me, looking around to see I'm in a tent. "Oh no"
