Chapter 40: Lake

The dragon is just staring at me while I crawl away, it just follow me around like some kid. "Just eat me already!" The beast stopped then growl in the same gentle way. It keep growling like it's talking to me. "Belladonna are you there?" My radio turn on as Adam voice came.

The dragon calm expression turn Into anger when his voice came. It growl showing me it's sharp, long teeth, the calm and gentle aura around the dragon turn hatred and dark. It open its mouth to growl or roar but another growl was made. The both of us looked around to see a Huge Grimm growling at us. It's haft size of the Dragon the white fur blend well with the snow making it almost invisible. The golden dragon turn it's whole body to it's new enemy.

The Grimm runs towards to the dragon lower it's head and with it's sharp horns hit the side of the dragon. The beast fall to the ground then quickly got up. I took the opportunity to run, grabbing my broken Katana and run to the opposite way. It was bad, the fear almost taking my whole body making me trip. Beside the rocks and some slippery ice of the ground. I could hear the two beast fighting, hearing the sound of their heavily breathing and every time one falls to the ground.

I knew the Dragon will survive it's a legendary beast, lived for billions of years. It wouldn't lose to a Grimm, but I couldn't help to think the beast looks young. Very young, the teeth's looks white like brand new or like the dragons washes them. There's not even a gray hair on its bright fur not even one, the dragon it's very young. A kind whimper was heard behind me as a shadow was flow above.

I looked up to see the Grimm flow above me and landed in front of me. Crushing some trees and rock, it has some big and small scars on it one big bite mark on it's leg, neck, arms. Thinking it's dead only to be wrong as it open its eyes. The Grimm attends to eat me as it opens it's mouth and lean forward. The dragon jump on it's head stopping it from getting to me. With it's huge claw it pierce the Grimms right eye blinding it. I didn't want to see no more as not wanting to be so near at the two beast.

I quickly got up and ran away to a lake. The water was frozen that I could see some small and large fish swimming underneath the ice. Thinking I could just go around it but a loud roar convince me otherwise. Carefully and hurry I ran to the lake making sure to not slip on it. "I hate Atlas so damn much" mumbling looking down to see a huge fish like creature swim underneath me. It wasn't a normal fish it was a lake creature. Scared by it I slip and fall hitting my head at the ice. "What the hell was that?" Looking down to see it wasn't there no more then look up just in time to see the dragon Grabbed the Grimms neck by it mouth and twist it breaking it's neck.

Grimm body began lifeless knowing well it's dead. The dragon dropped its head and started to scan around looking for me. I could see the scars on it but weirdly some smokes appear started to cover it and disappear. The scar wasn't there no more like the dragon just heal itself. It turns its head towards to me seeing me sitting on the ice. It whine trying to get to me placing it's big Talons on the ice only making a crack on it. The dragon move its Talon and place it back on land it whine some more.

The beast looked up at me then down at the dangerous lake afraid to break it. I slowly got up hearing the ice cracked underneath my weight. "Easy..easy" standing up straight was a little hard but it only gonna be worst if I move. Glancing up to see the dragon pacing left and right worried about me. Why? I know what I have to do. I'm closer the land where is the dragon, if I go somewhere I know the ice will break. Stepping forward hearing more cracks was made "don't put much weight" whispering to myself attending to distract myself from dying of a horrible death.

Looking through the water I could see the big creature swimming making me lost concretions. The lake creature bumps the ice with it's tail trying to swim downwards. The ice shook a little making the Dragon whine in anxious. The ice stop moving as it began still, looking up at the Dragon seeing it's Lilac eyes pierce to mine. "I'm ok-" the ice broken underneath me making me fall to the shivering water. The last thing I heard was the Dragon roar but it wasn't an warning or a fighting roar it was worried like crying.

Swimming back up to the surface only to feel the ice recover. I can't find the hole anywhere as I bang on the ice with my hands. Air started to began an problem I could feel my lungs squeeze for air that was replaced by water. The dragon jumped forward but the ice didn't break. So it started to run where I fall. I could see the blurry lines of the dragon scanning around where I was. Using my last strength hitting the ice letting the dragon know where I am. It looked at my direction opening its mouth about to flame the ice.

Then shut it's mouth instead of burning the ice and me on the other side. It jumped using it's two front Talons Banging the ice like a polar bear breaking the ice to hunt some fish or sea-lions. It's two Talons went right beside me the water moved by the impact. It got up and lean in the water with the mouth gently grabbed me pulling me out of it.

It jumped forward using its wings a little to go further away. Soon we were on the land The Dragon place me down on the ground then left. I can feel my Lungs burning from the lack of air. My whole body is now freezing the coat is all soaked wet. Now the cold breeze is taking over it freezing my whole body. In the distance I can hear things breaking like trees and a pull of grass.

The dragon came back holding trees, grass and a bit rocks. It place it all together like a big campfire with rocks around it. Dragon try to make it small like my size but couldn't. It bite my coat lifting me up in the air then place me beside the campfire. The dragon sit beside me and took a deep breath before letting the campfire on fire. It was huge by the amount of woods and fire. I could feel the fire warming me up but not much.

The dragon bite down my coat and started to pull very gentle signaling me to take it off. Following its order I took off my coat and some clothes placing it close on the campfire. I was about to lay next to it but the dragon grabbed me with it's Talons pulling me close to it. Soon I touch it's body my whole body began warm, it's like the dragon is the sun. I can feel warmness in it making me snuggle closer.

Closing my eyes shut feeling tiredness consume me.
