THEY WERE ALL PANTING and catching thier breaths. The fight they had with the guardian is really a tough one. Pierra blew a breath then stood up straight.
"So, what's next?" Adidas asked when his breathing finally calm.
"Portkey to portal." Forbes said then pick up a key that fell from the guardian.
"Ganito ba talaga ito? May makakalaban tayong boss monster?" Tanong ni Pierra sa kanila ni Forbes.
"Yes, in every portal there's a guardian whose guarding it. We need to kill it so we can use the portal." Forbes answered.
Lumingon ako kay kay Adidas pero nabigla nalang ako na parang hitad na nakadikit na si Vanice rito. Sorry for the term but it was really is. Animo'y nagpapacute kay Adidas at itong si lalaki naman ay tila nandidiri at pilit pinapalayo si Vanice na parang toko kung makakapit kay Adidas. Napatapik nalang siya sa noo.
"Ano ba! Bitaw." Naiiritang saway ni Adidas kay Vanice.
But Vanice is Vanice, instead of obeying, she pushed herself more to Adidas.
"Ayoko." Matigas na sabi ni Vanice kay Adidas.
"Let's go." Forbes announced then entered the Portal.
Sumunod na din si Hayla at pati siya. Hulihang pumasok si Adidas at Vanice. Napatingin siya sa paligid. One thing she can say is wow. Wow!
Base 2 is like a modern city. There are so many buildings, shops, and houses. Marami ding mga tao. Nagtataka tuloy si Pierra kung mga NPC ba sila o katulad nilang player.
"Welcome to Base 2." Hayla said gleefully.
Napangiti siya at tumabi siya kay Hayla. "Hayla? Mga players din ba iyan tulad natin?" She asked pertaining to the people who was scattered around.
"Some of it are, but there are also players like us. You see those guyses who is wearing an armour? Those are the players. And those people who is not wearing one, well those are the non - player character. But in here, they are like true people who just live like us in real world. If they die, they don't revive instead they'll just vanished. Unlike us who have the ability to revive and has chances to go back to the real world." Hayla said.
"Before they become NPC, are they also players just like us but were disqualified?" Pierra asked curiously.
"Some of it was players before but some are just naturally an NPC." Hayla answered then she looked at the back, where Forbes and others are standing. "Let's go. We need to find a guild to join." Hayla announced.
They all walk in the road. Walang sasakyan, puro tao lang na naglalakad. The mean of transportation here is ability. If you acquire an ability to fly then that's it. Palingon - lingon si Pierra sa paligid. Minsan napapangiti siya dahil sa pagkamangha sa mga naglalakihang buildings. Animo'y nasa syudad siya ng Maynila.
"Forbes? What is our purpose coming here in Base 2?" Adidas asked Forbes as they keep tailing Hayla and Pierra.
Vanice is still on his side, not even leaving for a second.
"Base 2 is the base for guilds. Maraming guild dito at kadalasan na makikita mong malaking building ay pagmamay-ari ng isang malaking guild."
Napatango - tango si Adidas at tumingin - tingin nalang sa paligid. Base 2 is for finding guilds. Adidas now wonders if they could get one-- no, they need to get one or else they're will turned into a NPC. Adidas sighed.
They halted their tracks when Hayla stop just in front of a billboard. Napatingin siya sa label na nasa ibabaw na bahagi ng billboard.
"Guilds." Adidas murmured.
