Big Mom was furious knowing Croissant didn't bring the last person able to read the Poneglyphs home, all Croissant said was that she couldn't find her, but she did tell Katakuri of her encounter, he lightly chuckled, amused of her decision.

She expected Big Mom to be mad so she also did research on how to read the Poneglyphs, her search led her to know of the third eyes clan, their third eye was known to be able to read the writings of the poneglyph. Hearing that, Big Mom ordered for them to be search.

A few days later, Big Mom hosted a tea party, she invited well know names from the underworld, the moment she entered with Katakuri beside her, her eyes suddenly stop at a person who was smiling at her. That smile felt familiar.

Big Mom called for both to come to her table, introducing them, when it was time for the person who smiled at her before, her eyes widen at the name.

"My name is Lucifer, glad to be acquainted with such a beautiful lady." He smiled widely.

Croissant was about to attack him in the future but was stopped by Katakuri. Katakuri hugged her as she trembled, seeing this he immediately excused himself with Croissant in his arms.

"Why.." Croissant mumbled as she gripped at Katakuri's vest.

Katakuri carried Croissant to an empty room to calm her down, she was shaking, not knowing what to do, he hugged her and lightly pat her back. Croissant mind was full of her memories from back then.

The horrid scene of houses burning down, bodies everywhere filling her mind as she clutched tightly on Katakuri's vest.

After a few minutes, Croissant finally calm down.

"He was the one" Croissant began talking while she was in Katakuri's embrace.

"He was the one who killed them" Croissant said as she leaned her forehead against his shoulder.

"What should I do.. I'm scared, Kata.."

Katakuri was confused, Croissant, his wife was trembling, all these years together, she never showed fear this much, anger yes, but never fear, did she forget she was powerful now? Was should he do?

"Do you want me to get rid of him?" Is all he could say.

"I will do it if that is what you want"

"Now, do you want to go back to the party or do you want to go home?" Katakuri asked.

Katakuri brought Croissant back home via Mirror World in silent, they didn't talk but Croissant hug Katakuri all the way home as he carried her.

She fell asleep in his arm, and after Katakuri lay her in bed. He exited the room. He knew what he was going to do next.

Waking up alone, Croissant rub her swollen eyes in search of Katakuri, but she didn't see him anywhere. Not just that morning but even till night time, she didn't saw him. All day long, she only talked to Ares and Allen.

But even her mind was not there, when Allen talked about work, She didn't really paid attention.

Allen knew something, she believed so. Because, she heard him talked to Katakuri via Denden Mushi during lunch.
