Different Now?

Croissant ran away from the door without thinking where to go, she just wanted to not be there. All of this year went by, she should have known she would never be able to fit in.

All those negative thought was replaying in her mind. She was thinking all the way to not have to see Katakuri. Then she stop in front of a window, nobody was there. A nostalgic feeling came when she looked out, it reminded her the time she was lost for the first time, and was found by Katakuri.

Croissant leaned her back on the wall and slide down, burying her face in her knees. Tears were dropping, she just couldn't hold them back.

"Let's go, Cro" A voice called, Croissant know very well that voice

"Leave me alone, Katakuri" Croissant said not looking at Katakuri.

"Come look at me, Cro" Katakuri said as he squat down to see Croissant.

"No, I don't want to, leave me alone" She said between sniffled

"Look at me, Cro" Katakuri said more seriously.

Croissant looked up, "So what n- mmph" Katakuri pushed his lips to hers

"Wa-what are you doing?" Croissant said pushing Katakuri away.

"I love you, Cro" he said looking into Croissant's eyes. She was shocked at first.

"Wh- No you don't" She said crying a lot more.

"All this year, I thought of you as my brother, but what about you." She said while punching Katakuri.

She knows her attack doesn't really gave him any damage but she was frustrated.

"Because I don't want to be your brother" Katakuri said starting to hug Croissant.

"So what do you want to be, dammit" Croissant said still crying

Katakuri tilted her chin up, then gave a little peck on her lips again. "You should now, after what I did just now"

"Do you love me, Cro?" Katakuri whisper to her ears.

"I love you of course.. Bu-but" Croissant was confused, she did love him, but was the love the same one? She never wanted for such affection, she was happy with all the hugs he gave. She never demanded anything more from him. 

"Its fine"

"You have all the time to find out how you feel" Katakuri gave a light pet on her head.

"Lets go, I will bring you back to your room" He said as he lifted Croissant up

"Kata?" Croissant called.

"Hm?" Katakuri looked at Croissant who was covering her face with her hands.

"You are talking a lot today" Croissant commented.

"I guess so."

The next day, Croissant thought that she should train as she was now allowed to move much more. When Katakuri brought Croissant, Ares was there waiting in front of her room, she felt bad leaving him alone yesterday. He shoot some glare to Katakuri before talking to Croissant.

He just wasn't as talkative than usual, and he didn't move much today too, so also as a forgiveness, she was holding him all day, even hugging him to sleep.

They went to the training ground together, with Ares guiding of course. It was convenient that she doesn't get lost that often now with Ares beside her.

While walking she did think about what Katakuri told her, she just didn't know right now. Was the love Katakuri spoke of were like that of lovers? Like a pair husband and wife? She did felt closer with Katakuri than the other siblings.
