What had happen

The next day, the triplets were up and running like they always were. Katakuri continued Croissant training and was impressed in three day Croissant kenbunshoku did improved. He pulled a black blindfold with white stitch. Croissant guess it was for her keep her eyes close, but the blindfold was quite long.

Croissant didn't know how many times she step on it, making her trip. Katakuri told her it was part of her training as she must know the presence of an object too, not just a living person, as in the future object like bullets and arrow will also be approaching her.

Croissant bickered with Katakuri saying that the blindfold didn't  have any intent how could she sense it, it was ridiculous.

In a few try, Katakuri patted Croissant many times, a signed of defeat as he knows that he mustn't use too much strength. Croissant sighed frustrated as she couldn't concentrated enough. Katakuri told her to stop as it was almost noon, he told her to take the blindfold as it is hers now.

3 years later

Croissant was now more like a young girl and not like a kid anymore, she still had a petite stature but she gain little muscle that wasn't that visible to her because she always was wearing oversize hoddie and black boots covering her leg up to her thigh, when not use she tied her blindfold on her neck as an accessory, on her upper thigh was her dagger, Gin, strapped to her.

After practicing a lot she decided to try using longer weapon as her muscle were now powerful enough, Katakuri once commented her power was to be used with long range weapon, but she learn using a dagger first because it was good measure if one day, an enemy were too close to her. She decided to try Katakuri using a trident but she wasn't really that suited.

She train using a nodachi, but she failed at unsheathing it, earning laughter from Daifuku and Oven over her short limb. She was almost going to give up. But something on the weaponry caught her attention. It was a spear, it was quite long and the blade was quite wide, but when she hold it, it was not that heavy, she took and try spinning it, easily gaining her feel towards it.

She went back to the training ground holding the weapon in her arm that day, gaining laughter again from Daifuku and Oven as the spear was taller than Croissant, but when she slam it to the ground near them, they thought twice, the ground was turn to rubble, she couldn't believe the spear had such power.

Katakuri solve the mystery once he knew she was confused, she unconsciously clad it with haki, meaning she had already a good grip on it, so even if it was light she could still make heavy damage by cladding it with haki.

Her new spear, Ares, was quite a handful because of the length, but when she grew taller she was almost the same height as it. She secured it behind her back every time she didn't want to hold it. Today was one of the day Croissant decided to hold it, it did have a scabbard but it was just to cover the blade not for Croissant to hold easier.

She was called by Big Mom, maybe about her being ready for a fight. She was accompany by a guard, so she won't get lost, because Big Mom hated waiting. Before long, she arrived at Big Mom's Throne Room. The guard bid farewell as Croissant entered the room. Big Mom were there with some of her oldest son.

"Mamamama, how have you been, Croissant dear?" Big Mom ask

"I have been doing really well, Mama" Croissant smiled

"Mamamama, that's good that's good" Big Mom said

"So lets get to business then, how do you feel about killing?" Big Mom said seriously

"..." Croissant smile faded for a second

"If that's what you want Mama, I will do it" Croissant answer regaining her smiled

"Mamamama, I'm giving you a mission, you will depart with Katakuri and Oven" Big Mom said

"I want to expand our land but some of them have pirates and some of them have marines lurking." She continued

"So you will need to get rid of them for me. Katakuri and Oven will only serve as my eyes, they will help if you have serious problem, this is also a test, I hope we didn't waste our sweets for 3 years on nothing now, Mamamama" Big Mom explain

Croissant didn't really mind Big Mom word, Croissant knew this was what Big Mom wanted from her. She was powerful now, and will want to get more, so some enemies will serve as a more good training. Some of the siblings sadistic character was rubbing to her.

"You will be out of Whole Cake island next morning and expand the land how far you want, I will give you 3 months, if you do a good job, I will grant you a gift, Mamamama" Big Mom said

Croissant nodded, soon after she was dismissed. Croissant left the room and began wandering as she didn't have anything to do, she could pack tonight, but it was still the late noon, so she could go for a walk a bit.

She didn't know when she arrive at the third floor courtyard. Croissant saw Brulee who was drinking tea with a 2 year old Smoothie on her lap. She was born a year after Croissant came. Smoothie were the oldest of a triplet, they will soon turn 3 in fall.

Croissant decided to join in, she really like smoothie. But to Croissant anything or anyone cute was always like-able. Speaking of cute, Cracker grew up not asking Croissant to be her wife anymore, he decided that she was more like a sister, and he like being a little brother to Croissant. This just earn some teasing from Daifuku and Oven.

For the last 3 year, Katakuri didn't show what was under his scarf, Croissant didn't really mind, because if it was something he didn't want to show then she mustn't pressure him. Croissant thought that Katakuri didn't like being around her, but he grew a habit of carrying Croissant around when he felt like it, and all he said was "you look like you need to be carried", he was even able to carry her around with one arm now.

One day, when Croissant went past their room a year ago, when Oven and Daifuku moved out off there. Croissant heard Oven telling Katakuri to tell her something soon or never, only for Katakuri to say he will think about it, but its best if she doesn't know. Croissant didn't really catch anything as she didn't like eavesdropping.

After that day, Katakuri kept quite a distance from Croissant. But if Katakuri got a new habit, why couldn't she. She often hug Katakuri from behind, surprising him most of the time, one of the reason she like hugging him was, his scent, it was getting to her because of all the carrying he did. She sometime felt more energized if she hug him. Hugging him always led to him shoving Croissant's head with annoyance.

It was already quite late when Croissant went back to her room, after being lost again after eating dinner of course. She didn't see any of the siblings much today. It was maybe because the sibling were getting together with Big Mom about who will be in charge of each island as after 3 year, Big Mom did expand the land.

Perospero told Croissant that he will leave Whole Cake Island as he was given Candy Island to rule as its minister. Croissant was a little sad knowing some of the siblings will not be here anymore as if they get old enough they will become minister of the island they are given. They did tell Croissant, she could visit anytime.

Croissant pack some of her necessities for the 3 months outside. She was excited because she could finally see more of the world, even if it was only near Totto Land. She open the window and look outside the view was nice. Not long the chilly air was getting to her, and she headed to bed.
