Not so good memories

We finally got to the first floor. Ray led us to a small room where were only a small window and some shelves. We stopped, Ray closed the door quietly and started to wisper.

"Okay. Now, we came with two cars. May, will you go with the new guy and we'll drive ahead you?"

I nodded. "Sure."

I don't even know where we're going to, so I don't mind driving behind.

"We got a place where we're bunking. It's a pretty long drive. The cars are behind the park, 20 meters to right from the old oak. Keep moving and be as fucking quiet as you possibly can. We can't be sure if there's anyone outside."

We have to jump out of the little window. Not that we're too high up, but the window really is small. Wonder that Ray managed to get through that window. And it's pretty high up on that wall, about as high as my head is.

My thoughts were interrupted when Ray threw the keys at me. I catched them and turned to face Gerard.

"So, New Guy, you want to drive or do you trust to my driving skills?" I said grinning at him and wiggled the keys in my hand before his eyes.

"Maybe I'll drive." He said smiling and laughing slightly and took the keys from my hand.

GERARD'S POV

I took the keys from Maya's hand and smiled at her. I do trust her driving skills but I just want to drive to take my thoughts somewhere else. My mind was racing.

Ray's helping Maya to get trough the window. Maya wasn't that short. She was maybe 5 cents shorter than me. But the window is pretty high up on the wall and those 5 cents will be useful.

As Maya has gone through, Ray hopped out, too. And the green haired guy. I decided to go next and let this other guy come after me.

I was just getting ready to jump as he grapped me from my arm. I turned to face this brunette guy. He looked a bit angry.. Why's that?

"Here. Take this."

He threw at me a walkie-talkie.

"Umm.. Thanks.."

"Zach."

"...Zach." I answered and tried to smile.

He turned around and just pushed past me and jumped out the window.

I looked at the walkie-talkie and mumbled to myself "okay then." I ran towards the window and jumped up so I could grap the edge of the window and pushed my body up. I squirmed through and jumped out.

I looked around. We're close to the spike fence that surrounds the school building. Only Maya was waiting for me. She looked at me nonplussed.

"What happened there?"

I shook my head and pulled out the walkie-talkie from my pocket.

"Nothing. Zach just gave me this and, yeah."

She still looked nonplussed.

"Okay, good. He- I mean Zach just looked so angry. Well, I don't know him so he can be angry all the time. However, there's a hole in the fence. It's right on the spot where the park is, so we only have to get trough the park. The others have already gone there to check if we still can go trough it."

I nodded. Maya seemed to be very confident about all this. I wasn't so sure.

***

We got to the hole. Only Ray was waiting for us. We just changed a few words. We agreed to a signal to know that we're all ready to go, when we get to the cars.
