~Reader's POV~
We're on the outskirts of the town and it day light. "Well I'm gonna take a nap before we go!" Meli said as he walked upstairs. "Doesn't he seem more weird to any of you guys?" I asked. "Eh maybe, you should check on him." Diane suggested. I walk upstairs to his room.
When I open the door I saw him on the floor with blood dripping out of his wound. Suddenly pictures of my past came rushing through my head but I tried to ignore them and picked Meliodas up and started to run towards the others.
"GUYS!!" I yell. I'm trying so hard to not drop him while running. "Diane you stay here me and Eli can bring him to a doctor." I said looking at her. "But I wanna help the capt-" "NO! HOW CAN WE FIND A DOCTOR IF EVERYONE IS RUNNING!!" They looked at me shocked. I calm down a bit and say "You can come later when he's a bit better okay?" She nodded and me and Elizabeth start running with Hawk of course.

We managed to find a doctor his name is Doctor Dana. I stare at Meli's unconscious body, I look away for a second and look at Eli her heads down and it seems like she's scared of talking. I sigh and turn towards her. I place my fingers on her chin and raise her head to look at me.
"Look I'm sorry if I scared you back there it's just I...I don't want to lose him, I'm just worried" I said looking in her eyes. She doesn't say anything but she stares back, then all of a sudden her arms are around me. I returned the hug and we just stayed like that in silence till Dana came into the room.
"Sorry to interrupt but I've got some more medicine for your friend" He said walking to Meliodas. Me and Eli let go of each other. After the Doctor left I see Diane at the window. I go close to the window and apologized for earlier. "No I get it he's your best friend you're worried" She said smiling.
"I'm sorry this my fault." We turn to Elizabeth. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "If i wasn't so useless this woudn-" "It's not like Captain risked his life for you. He's just like that trust me I know" Diane said. Then she started talking about how Captain and saved her from scummy humans (no offense of course) and that when we heard sounds from outside. We look at baste prison. "What is that?" Diane asked. "Some sort of magic?" Eli asked. I backup and say "You should get ride of them Diane I'll stay with Captain you go on ahead to Baste" smiling. The 'magic' came closer. It's not just magic, it's acid bugs. "OHHHH BUGS ARE MY ONLY WEAKNESS!!!" I hear Diane yell. I try to hold in my laughter.
"But if it's for the Captain then I won't let these things get in my way!" She using her magic and got rid of the bugs then went running to Baste.
"Can you believe she's still out cold even after all that racket outside?" Hawk asks. I hold back a smirk, becaus Meli is actually awake. Wounds like this are almost like a papercut for his body but I'm still worried. We hear a knock on the door and see the doctor walk in. "Checking on how our patients doing." He says, and Elizabeth thanks him while explaining that Meliodas's doing much better. "That medicine of your's seems to have him sleeping well." She she said to the doctor.
"Yeah, it's almost like he's dead or something." Hawk adds on, and I freeze, even though I know he's fine. "Hawk please! Don't say things like that!" Elizabeth screechs, worried about Meli kinda making me jealous for some reason. "In fact, it's quite accurate." The doctor says, making me hold back a fist. 'He tried to kill Meli! If he wasn't a demon..' I was filled with rage, but Elizabeth and Hawk still didn't understand the implications of his words. "Doctor you've done well. It appears you were successful in your task." A raspy voice says from out of nowhere.
"Belladonna, Spanish fly, nightshade, and henbane were all ingridients I used to create the poison. My condolences, but this boy will never wake up again." I grimace at his words, because they still send a shock through me though I know they aren't true. Elizabeth yells at the doctor, sad but also mad that he was lying to us. "Even with our great power, we knew it would be impossible to face multiple member of the Seven Deadly Sins at the same time and emerge unscathed. Besides, the kingdom made it clear we could use any means necessary." The raspy voice continues after hearing Elizabeth's little spat.
"Who are you? Show yourself right now!" Elizabeth yells at the voice angrily. "It's a pleasure to meet you." A man in armor appears next to Elizabeth, his hand over his heart. "I am the Holy Knight Golgius, member of the Weird Fangs." He introduces himself to us. "A Holy Knight." Elizabeth says under her breath, and Hawk asks when exactly he got in the room.
Golgius bows to the princess in front of him. "Princess Elizabeth. I have come to take you back to the Kingdom of Liones."
