Chapter nine: King/Flashback

~Reader's POV~
We go back to the roof to see everyone passed out. "Guess we should sleep too huh?" Meli said walking over too a wall. "Yeah we'll leave in the morning, goodnight! Oh and thank you Meli.." I said heading over to where Elizabeth's sleeping. "Anytime" He said as he feel asleep. Tomorrow's gonna be a long day.

-In the morning-

I wake up too someone poking me. I open my eyes to see Ban very close to my face. I punch him too the wall. "Hey!! What was that for?!" He yells standing up. "Next time don't go all up in my face dude!!" I yell back.

"Alright it's time to head out!" Diane says as she starts heading too the cavern. I turn my attention over to Eli. "You need help?" I ask.
She looks at me but it's not a normal look. She looked at me then looked away. "Hey you okay love?" I ask putting her hand in mine.

She looked at me and smiled. "Yeah sorry I'm still...tired" she says. I help her up and we start walking hand in hand. We arrive at the cavern and head inside. "Alright im getting changed, see ya in a bit!" I say heading up stairs.

(Remember you also wear a scarf because of your marks!!)

I head to my room and take of my clothes including my scarf. I look in the mirror and stare at my dark purple mark. I walk to the closet and pick some fish net ripped jeans, striped turtleneck, a t-shirt and a belt and put it on (the pictures up there!). I didn't grad a scarf since the turtleneck covers it.

I head downstairs. "Are we almost there?" I ask reaching the final step. "Yeah a few more minutes Lady (Y/n)" I hear Elizabeth say. "You know Elizabeth.." I start. She turns to me and tilts her head in the cutest way possible. "You can just call me (Y/n), there no need to be formal. We're friends right?" I say looking down at her sitting.

I'm shorter by a bit when standing. "Of course La- I mean (Y/n)!" She says quickly. "Good! I'll be outside if you need me." I say walking out the door. I sit at the side of Mama Hawks watching the trees go by. There so pretty.

I snap out of it as I hear someone yell "We're here!!". I get up and jumped off of her and started walking to the others. "This place looks... abandoned." Diane said. "Anyways let's start our jobs! Ban you cook, Diane your the billboard girl and (Y/n) help Ban!" Meliodas says. "Sir Meliodas! Please give me a job my injuries don't hurt that much anymore!" Elizabeth says.

"Don't work yourself out." He says. "That's not fair!" I say. He turns to me and tilt his head. "What do you mean?" He asks. "Bans not even hear so I have to cook alone!" I say crossing my arms. "What do you-" He looks around to not find Ban anywhere. "Ugh guess we have to find him." Diane says walking to the village. Jeez this boy.

We start walking around when we see kids running our way. Kinda surprising to see kids alone in this dump. "Help this flying kid is hurting a tall guy!!" The boy says running in a direction. We follow behind them and as we get there we see Ban and a flying kid though to me it's obvious that it's King don't know why he's in that dorm tho.

Meli walks up to Ban and wack him behind the head. "Now now Ban it's not nice to skip work!" He says. I look over to King to see his bored face tho with a hint of anger. "King!!" I hear Diane yell. "It so good to see you! We're gathering he group up wanna come??" She says happily. I see that king looks at her blushes and flys away. I mean I get his crush but like she's not that scary.

"Well that was rude." Diane says. "There's no way that thing Is King!!" Bam yells. "Believe it or not" I say. "I don't!" He says. "Anyways how do we get to the Necropolis?" Elizabeth asks.

"Simple! By dying!" He says. "Easier said then done" I mumble in annoyance. He looked me with a playful glare. "You guys are looking for it too??" We hear the little girl say. "You know where it is?" Ban asks. "Yeah it close to here." The little boy joined. "Could you tell us?" Meliodas asks. "Why should we?" The kid says.

"How about I make you guys food and you tell us??" Ban said. "Really?!" They asks simultaneously. "Yeah c'mon" He says leading them to the cavern.

Ban feed them and the kids told us what they know we start walking and we reach this open land right now it's just me and Ban I guess we lost the others. We stand in a comfortable silence.

Precious memories shared with the deceased huh? And I start to space out.

-Flashback-

"You're so stupid!"

"I don't know why they would let a monster like you stay here!"

"So ugly"

"No wonder she's alone!!"

"That cool guy shouldn't even be her friend."

I'm on the concrete floor a bit of blood dripping out of my hands. Man, could this day get any worse?! I sit there in silence listening to everything. Till I hear someone yell.

"HEY LEAVE HER ALONE!!"

I hear multiple footsteps most running away. I see a pair of shoes right in front of me. I look up to see a boy about my age looking down and me and held out his hand. "Need help?" He asked.

I stay silent and hesitantly grabbed his hand and he pulled me up. "Don't mind those guys there just snuck up brats." He said smiling.

"I'm Alex! Nice to meet you..?"

"I'm.....(Y/n).."

"What a pretty name!!"

-Flashback over-

"Flowers aren't you guys thing!" Diane says laughing. I look down to see with flowers. When did those get there? "Who cares you can eat them!" Hawks says. Then all of a sudden the flowers start to fly around us I run over to Elizabeth and held her hand. She squeezed it tight kinda scared and a white light came but then it started to fade. We see green crystals everywhere.

"Are we..." Eli started.

"In the Necropolis..?" I finish.
