~Reader's POV~
We're sat outside the car been as it gets darker and just talking. "Any of that Holy Knight if you just unleashed your true strength." King asks, turning to the rest of the Sins. "Now fess up. Where are your sacred treasures?"
Diane twirls a strand of hair in her free hand"I lost mine." Meli raise his hand "Sold mine!" He says cheerfully. "Mine got stolen." Ban says, following his example. "Shame on you." King says, clearly upset by their lack of responsibility.
I let out a small laugh as they continue talking. "Are you okay (Y/n)? You got hurt quite bad in there" Elizabeth asks. "I'm perfect Love!" I answer smiling at her. "But... DOESNT it hurt?" She asks worried. "You didn't see it?" I ask.
She tilts her head in confusing. I sigh and put my hand on her head. "I'm what they call a Masochist I like pain and it gives me more energie" I explain. She stares in shock. I giggle at the site. She looks away a bit flustered. "Hey but on the bright side you don't have to worry about me" I say trying to make her feel better. She looks at me and smiles. "Yeah".
We toon back into the Sins conversation. "The New Generation? What's that?" Meli asks King, who's telling us all that he learned about our enemies while working with them. "Apparently there's been a few failed apprentices who have found a way to gain the full powers of a Holy Knight in the space of only one day." King explains. It sounds familiar from back 'home' but I can't quite place my finger on it. But it doesn't seem good.
"Guila, for instance. She's the latest apprentice who's grown stronger overnight. Doesn't really seem right, does it?" King says. "She was?" I question.
"Let's back up a minute" King says angrily. "You took the Sacred Treasure that was bestowed upon you by King Liones himself, and SOLD IT!?" "I needed seed money for the tavern." Meliodas explain. "YOURS WAS STOLEN!?" King yells at Ban. "When they threw my butt into that prison." Ban drunkenly says.
King grumbles and turns to Diane, who's hiding behind one of her pigtails. "Am I a bad girl?" Diane asks miserably. "If it got misplaced, then it's not your fault." King reassures her. I laugh at that, they'd make a good couple. "What about you (Y/n)?" He turns to me. I summon a card and he nods at me.
"Finally someone can stay organized!" He says a bit annoyed. "Hey, I don't understand why you're getting so upset, King. These guys do pretty well with what they've got." Hawk says. "Sir Pig." King says while turning to face him. "Uh, Sir Pig?" Hawk questions. This is gonna get good.
"Now let's say that this lake represents all the magical power used by one of the Sins. How much water could you scoop out using just your hands?" King continues, ignoring Hawk's confusion. "Hands?" Hawks repeats, examining his hoofs. I try to hide my laugh at this. "That's right. No matter how much magic there is, you're pretty limited by them. But, if you have a weapon, especially a Sacred Treasure, you can draw out incredible amounts of magic." King concludes, puling water out of the lake with his magic.
"Sacred Treasures are pretty awesome." I tell Hawk. "That makes a lot of sense." Hawk says. "Why did you give yours up, hamhead!?" Hawk yells, shaking Meli back and forth. "I told you, I needed money for the tavern." He says.
"Excuse me," Elizabeth says to King. "But Sir King, before you joined us, were you working with somebody inside the castle?" She asks. "Mmm, more or less." King responds. "Do you know what happened to them? My father and two sisters, the king and other two princesses?". "I'm afraid not. Sorry about that." King replies.
-In the Morning-
"That town there on the side of the mountain is called Vaizel. It's a merchant's town." I explain. "You think it's really here?" Hawk asks me, looking at the town.
"Not too long ago one of our customers said a hammer was brought in that was so big that nobody could wield it. Don't you remember?" I say. "So nobody could handle it?" Elizabeth questions. "It could be Diane's." King clarifies for Elizabeth. "Then let's go!" Meli says.
I'm sorry it took so long I just started school and my anxiety is getting to high and I feel stressed but I hope you enjoyed this in the next chapter is the fight challenge!! Byeeeeee❤️❤️❤️
