Their relationship was a secret.

Well, not really a 'secret' secret. Only a few know their relationship, it's like they do not tell everyone but once someone found out, it's okay. They won't deny it.

She couldn't even believe he got a boyfriend like Kise Ryouta, one of the most popular boys in school, the hardcore heartthrob. While she, on the other hand, was just your plain Jane. It's not like she's ugly or anything, she's just, you know, average.

She didn't know what happened. Sure, they've been friends since middle school. She already liked him way back then but she didn't expect him to develop his feelings for her. He confessed during the third month of their sophomore year.

She couldn't believe it at first so she declined but he didn't give up. He would take her home after school. He would tell her to not forget his feelings. She later then accepted his confession but...

It was lunch time and she was about to head back to the classroom to eat when she saw him.

“Yui-cchi!"

Kise came running towards her. He was waving happily. He kind of reminded her of a dog wagging its tail as soon as it sees its owner. She thinks it's cute.

”Kise-kun," she said casually, trying to hide the cuteness she felt upon seeing him.

"Geez, how many times do I have to tell you to call me Ryouta?" He pouted. She drifted her eyes away from him.

Oh man, not that pout.

NOT THAT POUT.

"Anyway, wanna have lunch together?"

Just as she was going to answer, a horde of girls came rushing to their direction. Some of them have papers and pens with them, ready to get an autograph from his boyfriend.

"KISE-KUN KYAAAA!”

"KISE-KUN YOU'RE SO COOL!"

Oh come on now. Is this going to be the situation every single day?

But of course she couldn't say that out loud. She didn't have the confidence. She didn't have the guts to stop those girls and make a scene saying she's his boyfriend.

Before she knew it, she was dragged out of the place by the flow of his fangirls and she tripped. Good thing her newly bought sandwich didn't fall over.

She looked back to see how was he doing but she didn't see him. He was mobbed by his fans she couldn't even see his blonde hair.

'I guess it couldn't be helped.' She sighed.
