Emily lay upstairs in her bed in the Robertson household with her tv playing music and reading Pride and Prejudice as noise of people arriving downstairs caught her attention.
She didn't really feel like getting up to find out but naturally, curiosity got the better of her so she decided to get up and see who it was.
She sighed before closing her book and placing it on her bedside table before pausing the music on the tv. Then she slipped her feet into her sliders before walking out the door.
The further the brunette got down the stairs the more she began to recognise some of the voices in her kitchen. As she entered the room her eyes went to the sound of her nephew's voice. There he was sat on the knee of Neco Williams.
"Aunt Emmy." Rocco called as he noticed his aunt enter the room.
"Hey bubs." Emily greeted in reply.
"This is my new friend." The little point up at Neco.
"Is it now?" The brunette asked as he stood up from her crouched position and looked at the footballer.
"Hey, not my fault your nephew loves me. Maybe I could be your new uncle." He threw the brunette a wink as he whispered the last part.
"In your dreams, Williams." She informed him.
"Oh I know." He replied with a smile before she turned to walk away.

For some reason, Curtis never showed up that evening. Emily had questioned the boys about it but all of them just replied saying he was tired or not feeling up to it. The brunette had text the Scouser several times but got no reply.
"Trouble in paradise?" Neco questioned as he sat down next to her and noticed her texting his friend.
"No. I'm just worried that's all. He hasn't text me back all afternoon." The brunette admitted as she closed her phone.
"Give the boy some space. I didn't pick you as the 'clingy girlfriend' type."
"I'm not his girlfriend. We're just friends, that's all." She informed him as the boys began to gather around.
"So does that mean you and I can be more than friends?" He smirked. Emily decided she was fed up with his antics.
"Well, we'll just have to see now, won't we?" She leaned in and whispered in his ear before turning to watch as FIFA came up on the screen on the tv in front of them all.
Neco sat in shock as Trent tried to pass him a PlayStation remote. He was completely in shock at the words that had just left the brunette's mouth. And he couldn't tell if she was joking or being serious.
