Chapter 25

Emily Robertson walked into Melwood on a warm evening where the boys where having an afternoon training session. She carried a black bag in her hand holding her brother's football boots inside.

She smiled and greeted the members of the Reds facility that she had grown to know since her brother's signing with the club. After turning the corner she finally arrived in the canteen where the boys where having something to eat before training.

She spotted her brother sat with Trent, James and Gini at a table in the middle of the room eating their food. The brunette greeted her brother's teammates as she passed by before coming to a stop by their table.

"Sup Arnold." Emily smiled at her best friend before grabbing a price of food from his place and placing it into her mouth.

"Hey." Trent exclaimed as he realised the Robertson girl had taken his food.

"Don't be such a baby. Sharing is caring."
She explained before turning to look at her brother and holding out the bag in her hand in his direction. "The professional footballer who can't take his own boots to training, again. Andrew Robertson ladies and gentlemen."

"You're a life save Em." Andy told his sister as he took the bag and placed it onto the ground next to him.

"I know." Emily replied with a smile on her face. "Hey guys."

"Hey Emily." Gini and James greeted the girl they had gotten to know so well over the last few years.

"How's home?" Andy wondered looking at his sister as she leant her arms on their table.

"Fine. Rachel is taking the kids to meet her mom in the park." Emily explained in reply.

"5 minutes boys." One of the managers called as he stuck his head into the canteen to warn the boys about training which was due to start soon.

"I better go. I told Rachel I'd be back before she left." Emily said as she turned her head back to look at the boys.

"You still coming to mine later?" Trent wondered looking at the brunette before she could leave.

"Uh. I really don't want to." Emily complained with a sigh.

"Don't be such a baby." Trent told her using her own previous words against her. "And I wasn't really asking, I was reminding you."

"You're so mean." She said to her best friend.

"But you love me anyway." The English defender reminded her with a smile.

"Whatever. I'll see you guys later." Emily spoke to the boys in front of her.

Before Emily could say leave she felt a pair of arms warm around her waist preventing her from turning around.

"You we're gonna leave without seeing me." A familiar Welsh accent whispered in her ear before a kiss was placed on her cheek.

"I was hoping to, yes." Emily told him as she turned around so she was now facing the defender who's arms were still wrapped around her waist.

"Rude." Neco pouted before Emily kissed his lips.

"Ew. Older brother right here." Andy exclaimed dramatically as he placed his hands over his eyes like a child.

"That makes it even funnier." Emily said to her older brother before she kissed her boyfriend once again.

She pulled away from the kiss before lifting her hands and playing with the curls at the end of his neck as she smiled to herself and felt a sense of deja vu.

It was nearly a year ago when she was stood in this exact same spot except instead of kissing the boy in front of her she was smiling to herself as she walked away after being flirted with by the Welsh boy.

Emily laughed slightly as she realised how much her life had changed over the last year. She definitely didn't think she'd ever be in love with a boy who used to irritate her to the last.

And now here she stood in his arms and she couldn't be more happy with how her life had turned out. And how she had her heart stolen by the Welsh footballer.

The end☺️ I hope you all enjoyed this book as much as I did writing it. I thought this war the best way to end this book in a loop back to the first chapter with a few changes due to the storyline.

Thank you all for the support.
