"Promises are not always meant to be broken"

“Through thick and thin I promised to myself that wherever you go I will always stay by your side even though we are on the brink of death, Scarlet. I love you always. ” Edward said and kissed me infront of our families, relatives and friends.

That was the words that I always hearing on my mind. It's like a cycle. In the middle of my thinking I saw Edward, my husband.

“Hey babe what are you doing?” he asked while picking his clothes to wear for his work today.

“I'm just staring to our wedding pictures, remembering this wonderful day. It's just like a fairy tale” I chuckled. “All our promises when we we're teens came true babe.”

Nang matapos syang magbihis ay umupo sya sa tabi ko. Sinara nya ang photo book na kanina ko pa pinagmamasda.

“Look babe, as I said back then I will not broke those promises because those promises is for you... for the both of us.” he kissed my forehead.

Pinutol ko ang pagdradramahan namin dahil baka mabigyan na ako ng dramatic award.

“Sya, sya umayos ka na at baka malate ka na.”

Binalik ko na ang photo book sa shelves. Nag ayos na rin sya ng suit nya habang nakaharap sa whole bodu mirror namin.

“Hey babe I gotta go.” paalam nya.

“Anong oras ka makakauwi mamaya?”

“Around 7 pm babe, promise I will eat dinner here with you.” he kissed me again on my forehead and lips.

“Okay bye! Take care. I love you.”

Ni-start nya ang kotseng gagamitin nya bago sya umalis.

“Bye babe! Take care. I love youu”

“Hey babe, bakit gising ka pa?” tumingin ako sa wall clock. “3 am palang oh, may work-”

“Shhh” nilagay nya ang isang daliri nya sa bibig dahilan para tumahimik ang madaldal kong bibig.

“Tinititigan ko lang ang napakaganda mong mukha  aking binibini”

“Baka naman magsawa ka nyan” lait ko sa sarili ko.

“No. I will never get tired staring to the most beautiful woman, wife of mine” hinawi nya ang ialng hibla ng buhok para ilagay sa likod ng tenga ko.

“Sa araw araw na nakakasama kita, lalo kang gumaganda sa aking paningin. At hinding hindi magbabago ang pagtingin na 'yon” saad nya na aking ikinamula.

Tumawa sya ng mahina. “You're blushing lady. Go to sleep, i'll sleep too after you.”

Hinalikan nya ako sa noo at unti unting bumagsak ang mata ko para matulog katabi ng aking mahal.

He never failed to do all the promise he said to me.

“Babe, I promise to you that we will go in New York cause that's your dream city right?” he promised that when we were in highschool.

After college, he surprised me. He was with me when I witnessed the beautiful view of New York, my dream city.

“Hey Scarlet!” Edward called my first name so I looked at him in a bad way like he said something I don't wanna hear, but actually he did.

“Babe.” pagdidiin ko.

Pang asar nya akong tinawanan. “Okay, Babe.” pagdidiin rin nya. “Babe, Where do you want to go on our honeymoon?”
