I woke up around 11 in the morning the next day, though I overslept, I felt much better. However, I'm still feeling exhausted. As the leader of this presentation, I need to attend today's practice, regardless of how I feel, not wanting to disappoint everyone.

Aunt Paulette left a note at the table, with lots of food and some reminders, she left early and will be back tonight, when I heard someone.

Celine... Celine...

Aeon, I thought the meeting starts at 1? What are you doing here?

I let him in and sit beside him. But instead of giving me answers, he put his hands on my forehead to confirm if I'm already okay.

You're not yet fine, just stay here and rest. I'll just explain it to them.

I'll go with you. I'm fine. I even feel better. I lied but he's still not convinced.

Let's eat then, that's when I noticed that he brought food with him. I haven't eaten anything so I thought I'll share my food with you.

I'm not in the mood to argue with him, so I agreed.

I still have no appetite, but he's been watching me carefully. He's eyes has so much to say and its creeping me out. He may have cold expressions but he's actions displays differently.

Thank you. I said to him sincerely.

Its fine.

Seriously thank you, for everything.

Okay. You need to eat if you want to come with me later, and will you do me a favor? Can't you not give all your food to Lance, you need to take care of yourself as well?

Lance is my only friend here, I answered him softly, feeling ashamed.

You can also make friends with others.

I'm used to being alone so I'll be fine with him. Edward popped to my thoughts again which makes me look really sad.

Aeon, he extended his right hand and holds my other hand to make a handshake gesture.

Nice to meet you Celine Jones. The cold-blooded Aeon, the school's brightest student shaking my hand and introducing himself to me, is this a dream? The second guy who wants to be friend me? Maybe I am just hallucinating.

Nice.... to.... Meet you! I stuttered.

He again pretended nothing had happened. Finished his meal and waited patiently for me to finished my food.

We still have a half and an hour before the meeting starts. Aeon asked me to rest, and insisted me to take a nap while he watched tv. I'd fallen asleep at the sofa, and exactly half past twelve, he stirs me up to prepare.

We arrived at Lance residence at exactly 1 in the afternoon, and almost everyone is here.

Lance immediately welcomed us, then he let me meet his mom. Just liked her son, she's fun to be with, a very optimistic woman, she reminded me of my mom a lot. She anticipated our coming and baked goodies for us to enjoy.

Lance and I were talking while we wait for the others to arrive. Aeon was already with his friends, seated just a few blocks from us.

When everyone arrived, I and Aeon lead the meeting. We planned everything, even the smallest details that we don't want to miss. Everyone's eager to win this performance. The meeting was just brief so that everyone can start to practice on their own or with their groups.

Aeon let me ride his bicycle, after we bid our goodbyes to everyone.

Celine hold on tight.

Hey, will you slow down please, were not in a hurry.

But he just accelerated his speed, resulting for me to clung unto his waist tighter. This boy, really gives me headache. He seems to be enjoying the moment.

Aeon, let me just walk. I'm starting to feel dizzy, you know.

Sorry Celine, I didn't know you are this heavy.

He really starts to annoy me, and I can feel he's chuckling from the back.

Then I noticed that we are not taking our usual route.

Where are we going?

It's still early, and you told me earlier that you are feeling better. Perhaps you might want to accompany me first, as a compensation to what I did to you yesterday.

Next thing I know is we arrive to an overlooking hill with no one else around.

I was silence by the beauty of the place, the edge is mountainous while the bluish crystal sea can be visible below. It is indeed breath-taking.

He seems to be observing me.

Are you not happy Celine? We can go if you don't want here.

Amazing! Sorry I have no words to describe the beauty of this place. He seems to be pleased with what he heard.

I used to go here often, if I want to seclude myself. Aeon started.

Are you sad?

It's you, I know you are down.

I'm just sick you know.

Its fine Celine, I want you to appreciate everything around you from now on.

We sat on the highest part of the hill, while we wait for the sunset. The one I look forward to witness again.

Do you usually hang out here with your friends?

No, you are the first person I brought here.

Why? Thank you for everything, but you don't have to pity me.

I don't.

You seemed to be nice but you're always this quiet you know. At school, you only have three friends.

I don't need to speak to everyone. You only need to have true friends, just like you and Lance, you also have your own world when you are together.

Right.

Are you always like that? You avoid yourself from everyone.

What he said to me are all true so I remained quiet.

Celine you have us now.

I love to watch the sunset there also, but here is way more beautiful. I don't want to talked about it so I changed the topic.

Sunsets are all the same. Aeon answered.

No, it's not. Sunsets differ depending on what you are feeling while watching it. Every time I watched it with him, I always felt happiness, we were not focus on the sun but to our own world, our dreams, our everyday aspirations. Every time I watched it alone, I felt satisfaction. But today is different, I found serenity.

He's staring at me, not to the sun while I said those words. What is he thinking, am I weird?

You're really are something Celine, then he smiled.

We waited until the sun sets before we decided to go home.

Thanks, Aeon, for today, when we arrived at our doorstep.

It's nothing, rest well and do not overthink things. I'll go ahead.

Keep safe.

Despite my drained body, I slept peacefully that night without thinking about Edward nor remembering the sadness I was feeling.
