Chapter Six (edited)

"Are you sure you can walk all the way to the high school?" Mark asks worriedly, I mentally roll my eyes. 

"Yes, Mark. We'll be fine." I assure him, he sighs and looks at us concerned. 

"I don't like this. We have three newly shifted werewolves that can shift at any time from being too angry or too sad or too excited." He rambled. I rolled my eyes for real this time. 

"Yeah, and Sam and Blade are mates. They can calm each other down. Matt will just think about food and Max will be helping calm Sam, Blade, and I down. We'll be fine." I assure him again. 

"What does Echo think?" He asks, Echo pushes her way forward and takes control. 

"Calm the fuck down, Mark! We'll be fine! I promise we won't shift unless we are attacked by Rogues." She assures him, he breaths deeply and calms down. 

"Yes, Luna." He says with his head bowed, she went to the back of my mind. 

"Jeez, I need to teach her to not cuss until I can." I mutter, Ash laughs from beside me. 

We hurry out to Uncle Cody's truck and jump in the back. We ride to school and jump out. I wave and run into the school. Thanks Mark! We're late now!

I run up the stairs and hurry to my locker. This is going to be a long day.

School has just ended and we're waiting on Sam and Blade. I tap my foot impatiently as they finally run down the stairs. We go outside and start walking towards the high school. 

"Hold on, I'm going to mindlink Kiko and ask him to bring us the biggest hot chocolates for tonight." I say, they nod. 

Kiko, can you get us hot chocolates? The biggest size they have.

Sure, Jay.

Thanks.

I cut off the mindlink and we hurry to the bridge. We stick to the side and walk single file across the bridge. We keep going silently and turn to the right, going down that road we see our friends watching us strangely. 

We hurry to the school and go out to the field in the back. Khloe waves at us from the bleachers, we hurry up it and sit down beside her. 

"How was school?" She asks with a smile, I give her a hug. 

"It was great!" I reply sarcastically, she giggles. We watch the practice for an hour before I get bored. I sit on Ash's lap and lean my head onto his chest. I close my eyes and let myself take a small nap. 

I wake up to the sound of people talking and laughing loudly. I open my eyes and see that the game is about to start. I sit up and move to sit beside Ash. Kiko and Mark run up with our hot chocolates and give them to us. I sip it cautiously before nodding to myself. 

"What number is Uncle Cody again?" I ask, Kiko rolls his eyes. 

"21." He replies. I quickly look around and spot him talking heatedly with one of the players. 

I watch as they get into formation and begin the game. Two hours later the opposing team is winning by three points but if we get one more touchdown we'll win the game. I jump to my feet as Uncle Cody catches the ball and starts running towards the touchdown line. 

I scream as someone goes to tackle him, but Cody evades him and jumps across the line. Our side erupts into cheers. Khloe runs down the bleachers and jumps over the fence. She races into Cody's arms and they kiss as he spins her around.
