I look down at the two kids, almost crying as I see who they are. They fling themselves into my arms, knocking me to the ground as we all start sobbing.
"Jay! We missed you so much!" Lizzie cries, burying her face into my neck. I cry with them, trying to memorize their smell. Everyone stares at us in shock and surprise, not noticing as Cody smells outside and shuts the door. I pull away from my siblings that I haven't seen in years, looking down at them with them still clinging to me.
"How did you get here? Where's Mom and Dad? How is everyone?" I ask quickly, standing up with them still in my arms.
"We stole Daddy's wallet and rode the bus here! We heard them talking about you one night and where they thought you lived, so we came to see if you were here!" Jon says quickly, his voice still squeaky from his young age. I wipe away my tears, sniffing.
"You shouldn't have done that, you two." I scold, walking into the living room and sitting down beside Ash. They fling themselves at him as well, before hugging everyone they know around the room. I forget about the humans in here as I watch my siblings carefully, studying them as they tearfully hug our family.
"Jay, we need to take them home first thing in the morning. The longer they stay here, the more it'll make everything worse." Uncle Cody says quietly, I glare at him as I stand up.
"No! It's been three and a half years since I last saw my family! And I bet you're eager to leave, aren't you?" I scoff, grabbing my siblings hands and pulling them into my room.
"Jaiyana! That's not fair!" Uncle Cody calls after me.
"Fuck off! What you said earlier was wrong and I hope your fucking wish comes true! Leave and never come back!" I yell, slamming my door and sitting on my bed. Tiny arms wrap around me, keeping me close for comfort.
"That was a bad word, sissy." Jon remarks, I force out a strangled laugh.
"I know, baby. I'm sorry, just don't repeat it." I advise, he nods against me as their tears soak my shirt.
"Everyone told us you were dead!" Lizzie wails, gripping me tightly and nuzzling her face into my neck.
"I know, and you have to promise me you won't tell anyone we're alive, where we are, and who we are." I say sternly, they both nod.
"We swear to the Moon Goddess!" They say in unison, I smile sadly and kiss their heads.
"Good, not even Mommy and Daddy." I say, they nod. Someone knocks on my door, before quietly opening it and sticking their head in.
"Jay, are you okay?" Max asks quietly, I nod with an unconvincing smile.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Or, I will be." I answer, he nods and slips back out of my room. My siblings pull away, wandering around my room.
"Why does it smell like Asher?" Jon asks, I grin.
"Ash is my mate. Do you know what that means?" I ask, they nod with grins. They bolt out of the room, screaming Ash's name. I run after them, seeing them tackle Ash to the ground.
"You and Jay are going to get married!" They sing, I blush in embarrassment as the humans stare at me.
"That's not what I said and you know it!" I say in embarrassment as Kiko and Mark laugh at my siblings display. Ash's face reddens, gently pushing my baby sister and brother off him.
"W-well, that's really, really far into the future." He says hesitantly. The humans leave, leaving us alone. I relax, knowing that my siblings won't be able to accidentally slip up.
