Tomorrow Morning.
John's POV
I knew it was the last night of sleep I just had. I was looking at the door where the guard will come and give the clothes I'm gonna wear to my execution.

He did, and I dressed in them. I was then led out of the building. Thomas had forbidden me from going outside, so the sunlight burnt my skin.

I froze when I looked at the chopping block(I don't want to use the guillotine.) Far away from the boat I was on. I held back my tears. Nobody cared.

Thomas' POV
He deserves what he's getting, Thomas! Forget about him! FORGET ABOUT HIM!

"NO!" he screamed. "I can't."

"Can't what, Mr.Jefferso-" the man was cut off.

"JOHN! BRING HIM BACK! I CHANGE MY MIND! I DON'T WANT HIM EXECUTED!" screamed Tom.

"Sorry, sir. It's to late, Mr. Adams is saying his last words before putting his head on the block."

"No!" Thomas cried.

"No no no no!" he screamed.

"TAKE HIM AWAY!" demanded Thomas.

Soldiers ran to John before he lost his head.
