John's POV
Thomas hasn't spoken let alone looked at me all day! Until, he sent me a letter.

Dear John,
Can I really believe you're innocent with simply just a letter? Also I'm surprised you actually opened it. I'm grateful you liked the diamond. But why did you sent it back? Keep it. And no John. I'm not gonna execute you. I just can't look at you! I think I was being dramatic last letter, you were probably scared too. I'm sorry, my John. Here, please have the ring back.

I picked up the ring. I then planned to throw it in the fire, but stopped myself. I then started writing back.

Dear Thomas,
Believe me, I will never in my whole life have an affair with Reynolds. He raped me while I was in the tower. But I never had feeling for  him. You want me to have the ring back?! Well, thanks. I was gonna ask you to break it into pieces. I'll keep it. I am shocked you're not thinking of executing me. I'm happy cause of it. Oh, and don't worry! It's fine if you were dramatic. I love you either way, my dear.

I smiled. And then realized I didn't put the ring on. So I slowly put it on. I put the letter in the envelope and put in the envelope box outside my room.

Even though it was mid afternoon, I felt sleepy. I decided to take a nap. I then heard...paper. I looked down and saw a note that was sent threw the crack of my door. I walked over and picked it up.

                   I love you even more, John.

I knew it was from Thomas. I chuckled and put the paper up to my chest.

"I love you to the moon, and all the way back."
