John's POV
My clothes were light gray, so the blood will stand out(?).

A guard whispered in my ear, "You can say a speech if you want, Mr. Adams." It sent a shiver down my spine.

I've been harassed these ways since I first came to the tower(omg this sound like England but it's not sorry.). It always bothered me.

I did do what he told me I could do. The words I said...I don't even remember what came out of my mouth.

"I know I'm dying a prisoner, but I'll rather die a mistress or husband of Mr. Jefferson."

The people gasped at what I called him, but I didn't care. I took my last deep breath, before getting in my knees and putting my head on the block. My neck visible for a "perfect" cut.

No One's POV
While John was waiting for his death, Thomas had sent a group of soldiers to put John back in his cell. But right when John put his head down, a man went back to Thomas.

Even though he didn't see John's head off, he needed to tell Mr. Jefferson that John Adams was dead. What he didn't know was that Mr. Jefferson had sent an army to get John back(does this makes sense!?).

John's POV
I closed my eyes, the thing that scared me the most is that I might still feel the pain. Will I still be alive for a couple second when my head is chopped off? I read stories as a young age that that happened.

The executer gripped the axe tightly, even thought I wasn't touching me yet, I felt the axe on my neck. I then took my last breath, before I d-

"WAIT!!" A voice screamed.
