CHAPTER XXIV: Alcoba's End Season Fashion Show

Caleus' POINT OF VIEW

Mabigat ang dibdib ko ng lumapag ang eroplanong sinasakyan ko. Hindi ko mapangalanan ang takot at kaba na nararamdaman ko ngayon.

Ngayong araw ang fashion show na kasama sa models si Xandrie. Hindi ko alam kung dapat pa ba akong tumuloy papunta doon. Mabilis na nakarating sa amin ang balita nina Xandrie noong nasa Japan siya. Pero ang mas ikinabahala ko ay magkasama sila ni Calyx.

Alam ko na may nararamdaman si Calyx kay Xandrie, hindi naman niya siguro ako susuntukin ng ganon kung wala lang. I know Calyx since we are primary schoolmates and friends. And he is really like that when it comes to his possession.

"Mr. Caleus Tristam Briones?" A fine man approached me.

I nod at him. "Why?"

"I'll be your personal driver and butler as in favour with your Madame Trixtain Briones." Magalang na aniya.

My mom really assured everything will be done according to her plans. And she even organize things like this for my convenient. Napailing na lang ako.

Kinuha nong butler ko yung mga gamit ko. Naglakad kami papuntang termin 1A kung saan nakapark ang sasakyan niya. I went to back seat and he started driving.

"Are we heading to your family Hotel, Sir?" He asked as he glanced on the rearview mirror.

I shook my head. "Sa Alcoba Clothing Line tayo. I'm going to meet a friend."

He just nod and continue driving. With less than half of hour, we arrived at ACL. Hindi na ako nagulat ng makita ko ang mga event organizers and press na nagkalat sa labas ng building. May mga security teams din na nasa labas para pigilan ang sandamakmak na reporters na gustong pumasok.

I went off the car and successfully sneaked in to the building. If I can remember it correctly, the venue will be on the top floor of the building. Puro staffs lang ang nakakasalubong hanggang sa makarating ako ng top floor.

Natulos ako sa kinatatayuan ko ng nadatnan ko ang scenario sa loob ng event hall. There are few press while Xandrie is sitting one of the couch.

"Is it true that you got married in Japan?" One of the reporters asked.

Mahina namang natawa si Xandrie. "No, I'm actually there for vacation with a friend. I didn't know that people will give malicious ideas about it. Hindi na ba ako pwede mag unwind?"

The press lightly chuckle. "Your photo has been widely spread around the globe right after Blackpink Lisa posted it on her Instagram. How do you feel about this?"

"Well, I am kind of shocked and honoured too. I'm an avid fan of their group but I never had the opportunity to attend their concerts and fan meet events. But then, Japan tour with Classy is a great chance for me to attend their concert." Nakangiting pahayag nito.

"And this Classy is the guy you been with, right?" Another press

Tahimik ang buong event hall kahit may nag aayos ng mga decorations kaya malaya kong naririnig ang interview. I leaned on the wall beside the main entrance. I eavesdrop on the on going interview.

"Yes" I cleared my throat when I heard it. And with all the courage I gather, I took a glimpse of what is happening inside.

Only to witness that Xandrie is waving her hand to Calyx to come closer to her. Nakangiti namang lumapit si Calyx sa tabi ni Xandrie, the press were astounded.

"He is Edwin Zander Calyx Alvarado. He is the one with me when I was in Japan." Pakilala ni Xandrie.

"So, is he your fiancè?" One of the reporters asked with a wide smile.
