CHAPTER XVIII: Stay away from me

Edwin's POINT OF VIEW

I was sitting while staring Xandrie and Irene walking on the ramp. She have this expressionless face and unexplainable aura while walking.

I don't know what's going on with her or with them. But right after she announced earlier that Caleus is her fiancè. I just can't breathe at the moment. I don't want to see them together but this chaotic things happen. I don't know what to do and think.

I sharpened my gaze to Caleus who's intently looking at Xandrie.

"Okay! Take a rest everyone" Earn announced to the girls.

Isa-isa namang bumaba ng platform sina Irene. I helped Irene while Caleus helps Xandrie. I can't take my eyes from those two who were chuckling and smiling at each other.

"Tsk Woi, ayusin mo nga sarili mo." Sita sa akin ni Irene nong inaalalayan ko siyang makababa.

Naupo kami sa pabilog na malaking table. Nandoon na ang nga inorder na meryenda nina Earn. We are dining with other young models too.

"It is really an honour to work with these two known models, Xandrie and Irene. Kahit alam kong binully ka pa ni Xandrie, Irene bago mapapayag." Earn teases the two. "But I am really happy because the designs are now finished and ready for fitting. And I am working with all of you. Thank you."

"Chill, Earn. I'm pretty sure after this fashion show. Your company will be in blast." Irene commented.

Natawa naman si Earn. "Kaya nga sinusulit ko na yung ganito kasi sure ako na mas magiging matrabaho ang darating na buwan para sa akin. And thanks to the both of you."

"Don't mention it. We are happy doing this, right ladies?" Xandrie answered with a big smile.

"Yes. I mean, who would have thought that I'll walk with the KML and New York Top Models." One of the model stated.

"I agree." Janine seconded. She is one of Earn's model. "Sa magazine ko lang kayong dalawa nakikita dati. And nong sinabi sa akin ni Mr. Earn na kasama kayo sa fashion show niya. I immediately say yes."

I can see the admiration on the girls while looking at the two. Just to imagine that Irene and Xandrie were both wearing jeans and simple shirt. While these ladies are wearing fashionable dress and branded heels. Sobrang simple lang nilang dalawa pero kakaiba yung pag angat nong ganda nila.

"Since, nandito na din tayo. Let's get to know each other by playing a game." Earn suggested that agreed by everyone.

"One Question for each okay?" He added.

"Okay" they said in unison.

"I have one question for Miss Xandrie" Janice bubbly said. Nagtatanong na tiningnan naman siya ni Xandrie habang umiinom ng juice.

"Siya po ba ang fiancè mo?" She asked while pointing at me. Agad namang inabutan ni Caleus ng tissue si Xandrie ng masamid ito.

"I'm sorry for that." Xandrie said. "And about your question, bakit mo naman naisip na si Edwin ang fiancè ko?" Pabalik na tanong nito.

Janice shrugs. "Laman kayo ng news at articles ng iba't ibang magazine. Madami ding kumalat na balita na nagkaroon na ng family meeting dati. Pero walang nagconfirm ng kahit sino ng balita."

"Oh, it was in Brix International Hotel." Xandrie uttered. "It wasn't actually like that. I had dinner with Alvarado's Family. And right after that, I met my father with my fiancè. We just formally introduced with each other." Xandrie threw me a look. "And He's not my fiancè, but him." He pointed Caleus.
