It's quiet.

So quiet that easily one could hear a pin drop, if anyone actually carried a pin with them.

Maybe there's a few heavy deep breaths or squeaking of shoes from how a leg is bouncing in anxiety, but for the most part it's just quiet.

Too quiet.

It doesn't help that there's this mass tension in the room as well. The air is so thick that it was just so hard to breathe into it. No one can move, almost as though if they did than a fucking explosion will happen. There's nothing to do besides just staying quiet and hear the ticking of the clock go by slowly, feeling like a hammer down each of their bodies as they anxiously wait for their time to be up.

The detention teacher is up front, writing things down, nearly passing out asleep by this silence. Meanwhile the beaten up students remain seated to their only punishment, unable to use their phones, and practically sprawled out around the classroom.

Separated.

For a good reason though.

If they as much breath next to each other, that would be a flicker of a fire to explode and then a domino effect around everyone else to burst in those rage and aggravation.

There's nothing left to do besides waiting.

Thirty minutes now and then they will finally be out.

Suddenly the teacher gets up from the chair, stretching his thin limbs with a heavy sigh, "I'm go to the bathroom, don't even try to get out," Was the only thing he said before getting out of the classroom and shutting the door behind him.

Locking it for safe keeping, everyone knowing well they aren't going to see him for sometime until it's literally last minute.

The tension escalated.

With no barrier between them of the teacher, only four walls just anxiously staring back, the need to break something becomes very tempting.

Jeongguk feels it the most, and his anxiety is spiking up every second as his leg bounces with a chest clenched, thinking of what to even tell his parents when he gets out.

Their precious and good Jeongguk got into a fight?

Got detention and luckily not suspended for his good record?

Yeah, definitely doesn't sound like him.

He can't exactly say what happened to him during the fight because he doesn't even know.

All he remembers is going over a dance with Woosung and suddenly accidentally elbowed his abdomen. Ten saw and instantly snapped to be careful. Jeongguk was already pissed off for being late, his parents lecturing him at home this morning when he woke up late, and having to do a test that he didn't study for next class.

And dealing with Ten's attitude was the cherry on top.

So they got a bit aggressive and shoved each other for a bit, Woosung got in between but then a whole fist fight broke out from one moment to the next between the three of them.

It was..... Really bad.

Jeongguk only has a busted lip out of it but Ten has a black eye and bruised jaw. Meanwhile Woosung's left cheekbone is swollen red and he has a cut on his nose.

It was just...... Bad.....

Very bad....

If it wasn't for Taehyung who yanked him off aggressively, he would've still kept on going and wouldn't be able to stop on his own will.
