Oh Jeongguk was furious.

Not even furious.

He was livid.

One can easily tell just by how he's storming into the cabin; slamming the door behind him angrily to block the two worried boys trailing behind him that he's pissed. It was almost as though a trail of fire followed behind him with his raging eyes sneering to the bed before laying down, not giving a shit if he's still dressed up, and wanting nothing more but to sleep.

He really thought dinner was going to go by calmly.

With his parents? Hard to believe.

Maybe at first everything was going by so well, but of course it all changed.

And it was the second his parents opened their mouths.

The atheist vs religious debate happened, this time his parents vs Ten's parents, including Woosung as well. It didn't escalate so badly at first but then it got too extreme. Woosung's parents tried to calm down the fire and Ten's family were kind enough to end it there, but that's when Jeongguk's parents spoke to him after the dinner.

They're planning to leave the day after Christmas, cutting the vacation short.

Of course they wouldn't dare leave Jeongguk behind and that only created this frustrating pain in Jeongguk's throat. He can't speak, and the signs aren't enough to express what he wants to say.

He doesn't want to leave.

What sucks is that they're his parents and of course he has to obey them.

He's tried to ease their decision but that's not happening, they want to leave and take him as well.

And that alone is frustrating because he knows they will most likely order him to not talk to Ten and Woosung again.

Just to his luck.

It seemed as though Ten and Woosung overheard their conversation because the second Jeongguk stormed away, they ran after him.

They could try to understand. They could try to see from his shoes and see his struggles, but they will never know how deep Jeongguk's wound is already.

And it hurts.

It hurts a lot.

And the pain just grew and provoked Jeongguk to clutch a hand to his throat when he felt tender arms wrap around him from behind, a face nuzzling his neck comfortingly. Meanwhile in front of him Woosung is crouched down, meeting Jeongguk's glittering teary eyes with a deep frown and a hand interlacing his other hand.

"We got you, okay?" Woosung assures quietly, his grip tightening, "You're safe here."

That was all Jeongguk needed to hear in order to let it out.

To cry.

To breathe.

To express whatever is causing him this much pain.

Truth is, Jeongguk is not one to cry so easily, nor is very sentimental surprisingly. So when he does it's not just because of one thing, but various all at once.

Just slamming onto him the weight he's tried to hold off alone.

But he can never truly do it alone.

So when he falls, he is usually alone and dealt with the pain to avoid it.

Now he....... He just can't keep doing it.

He's grown more fragile, and that's because of these two angels now in his life; Who are here to catch him and not judge his tender heart.
