Way Down We Go - KALEO

It's been hours.

Well in reality Jimin doesn't know exactly how long it's been, but he can safely assume it's been hours by how badly his legs are cramping from staying on the ground sitting for so long. He's still cuffed with the bag over his head that smells like vegetables, but at least it's that and not fish or meat.

He's been hearing footsteps against the concrete floors for a while, but they haven't said anything to him. However he's heard voices communicating with each other in hush tones, maybe crack a few jokes here and there, but just that.

All Jimin could think about is his own pain, thinking how the fuck did he end up like this.

What he wanted was to only see Taemin, that's it! He was even planning on going back to catch a plane, even if he had to pay for it.

Unfortunately things don't always go as planned.

Now he has to survive, use his training for good use in this situation.

And only survive.

"The boss said we can take him up," A voice suddenly spoke.

"He sure loves to deal with little pests on his own doesn't he?"

"Obviously if it involves his little treasure."

Just then a hand latches to Jimin's arm, yanking him to his feet up, "Come on kid, your death awaits."

As if that's going to be an option.

Jimin held his tongue but followed orders as he's guided blindly to walk. Mentally he's taking notes of every corner he turns to, how many steps he has walked, the amount of people he's heard throughout this little journey he's taking.

All he needs to do is get off these cuffs and he'll be fine, and thankfully he knows how to escape them easily.

Got to love being flexible and a smart fucker.

As Jimin dealt with that on the low, there's the sound of a knock that reaches his ears with a faint voice he couldn't hear from the other side but a door is opened and he's lead inside. The ambient here is instantly forced to be reckoned with.

Tense and very thick.

It does feel like he's walking to his death actually, and not in a good way.

Jimin knows for a fact he's dealing with someone of high power right now just by this alone.

Thankfully Jimin doesn't let that intimidate him so easily.

Suddenly a kick to his legs sends him down to his knees with a grunt, staying there as silence filled the room.

A silence that didn't last for too long.

"So this is the guy that was following my son?"

Son?

"All the way from the airport sir. We didn't ask questions just as you asked, he's all yours."

An amused snort chimes the air, thick and very dry, "Seems like a feisty fellow, judging by that bruise on your face," This made Jimin feel a little cocky, "Show me his face."

And just like that the bag is removed from his head, but the light nearly blinds his vision of around the room so he blinks a few times to adjust to it before noticing his surroundings.

It looks like he's in an office, business office, but a nice one to say the least yet that wasn't what Jimin was focused on once his vision settled well to us surroundings.
