Daddy Issues - The Neighbourhood

Stepping inside the bedroom Taemin could see that it is completely empty, well from a human being inside. He lets his eyes scour the living room a bit more and steps into the bedroom but to see Jimin no where in sight.

Hm....

Once again Taemin checks Jimin's text message and steps farther inside the room, just in case he hasn't looked completely everywhere for the tiny person.

It began to grow as a worry when Taemin still couldn't find Jimin, instantly thinking the worse with his heart picking up speed in anxiety. Taemin already wasn't in the greatest mood to say the least, just tired and exhausted of accompanying his fathers to their meetings, so letting out some steam coming after people if Jimin is in danger doesn't sound like the most horrible idea ever.

But suddenly Taemin pauses the second he passes by a creaked open door, hearing a heavy sigh from the other side.

Oh hell no....

Okay this could either be three things; Jimin is attempting something he shouldn't, he's being held hostage inside, or he's masurbating.

Judging by his attitude earlier, the last one could be crossed out.

Taemin quickly turns his head to the door, takes his gun out and slowly looks through the slit between the door and the frame.

Oh thank God!

It's none of those things.

Well he found Jimin, who's currently in the bathroom by the sink. He's wearing a black silk robe that reached his mid thighs, his dirty blonde hair wet and brushed back away from his face that's clearly fresh from a shower. He's quiet, just staring at himself with no signs that seemed to be that he's in trouble.

In other scenarios Taemin would assume that Jimin was trying to seduce him with this look, but it was the way Jimin was staring at himself in the mirror that made that thought instantly disappear.

It's a weak stare, yet almost challenging in a way. As though he was challenging himself for something, or hiding it back. He's leaning against the counter with palms pressed on either side of the sink, his gaze firm but so conflicted.

This is the first time Taemin has ever seen him look so....... Lost.

And it doesn't follow with a good feeling either.

So gently Taemin puts his gun away and pushes the door farther open, not seeing Jimin twitch a muscle despite the fact he noticed Taemin's entrance. Even as he goes up to him and leans back on the counter to be able to see his face, Jimin didn't flinch or move away.

The only way Taemin knew Jimin was not completely frozen was by he would blink ever so often, or breathe heavily through his nose as though he's trying to grasp his composure.

It was silent for a few moments with neither of them saying anything before Taemin stuffs his hands in his pocket, eyes still focused on the other.

"Gatita, what's wrong?" He asks calmly, keeping his voice steady, "For the past three days you've been avoiding me, and now I heard about the fight you had with Tae. Did something happen?"

Jimin didn't say anything for a long second or two, but his eyes did grow dimmer underneath the lights. He continued to stare at his reflection before letting out a heavy sigh, knowing damn well that exploding his anger out at Taemin will result in nothing but a backfire.

He's not in the mood to fight tonight.

"Holidays isn't a good time for me," Jimin murmurs under his breath, closing his eyes for a moment but then flutters it open, "It's funny how Christmas is suppose to be such a joyous year....... Yet I see no joy in it since it has caused me nothing but pain."
