Klaus frowned as he sensed the dark aura of vengeance hanging in the room. It made his blue eyes dart over the trio, his sister, his nephew and the wolf, wondering just who it could be coming from.
It couldn't be Alyss, she wasn't someone who sought out revenge. Justice, perhaps, for those she cared for, but not vengeance. And it couldn't be the wolf, Remus he believed his name was, who seemed to be almost kindred soul to his sister.
His gaze finally rested on his nephew and even though the Core wizard was looking perfectly fine, the Original could recognise the look in his silver eyes, having seen it plenty of times in the mirror. It had something to do with the boy, he was positive. He just needed to know what.
"Sirius," the Black turned his eyes away from his godson to his uncle, "Can we talk in the kitchen?"
Out of the corner of his eyes, Klaus noticed his sister frown slightly, concerned to why he wanted this talk.
He looked at his mother, who shrugged and he looked at his best friend, who shrugged too.
"Uh, sure."

Sirius sat at the kitchen island, staring at the glass in his hand as he swirled the bourbon his uncle had poured him.
5 pm somewhere, right?
Klaus was leaning against the parallel bench with his arms crossed, watching his nephew closely, "Tell me what happened."
The wizard ran his hand through his hair with a heavy sigh, "Someone who I thought was my friend, betrayed us and got the man who was the closest thing I had to a brother and his wife killed. That bastard made a magical oath to be the Secret Keeper to keep them and Harry safe."
The Mikaelson clenched his jaw.
This man in front of him was his sister's only son, his family and now his nephew has told him that the next generation of his family, could have lost his life because they had been betrayed.
Anger was coursing through his veins and now he wanted the person responsible's heart in his hand.
The Original stood up straight and walked over to clap his hand on Sirius's shoulder, "I think I have the perfect way for you and I to spend a bit of time getting to know each other a little better."
Having met members of the Black family before, Klaus would have been slightly disturbed by the flash of insanity that lit up the Wizard's silver eyes. But this man was his nephew and he took a lot of satisfaction to know that now he had a Black in his family now.
He, Sirius and Kol would have so much fun.

"Should we be concerned?" Alyssandra rose an eyebrow at her brother and son. She was delighted to see them getting along so well, but she had seen that look before.
"S'all good, Ma. Me and Uncle Nik are just gonna go... somewhere."
Remus snorted. He had grown up with Sirius and he couldn't count how many time he'd seen that face on his best friend. He was up to something. And with a thousand year old vampire werewolf hybrid as an uncle right behind him with the exact same grin and glint in his eyes.
It was terrifying.
"Mhmm," The Talisman hybrid stood and walked past her brother, snagging him by the ear and dragging him back towards the kitchen, leaving Sirius with Remus, who was looking very unimpressed.

"I know why you're doing this and it's not because you want to bond with him," The blonde was looking very annoyed and disappointed, neither was something Klaus liked to see, "You want my son to kill Pettigrew and see if he breaks his curse if he even has one."
He looked to his feet, showing an emotion that only she had ever seen, shame.
"You can say you're not curious either, Alyss."
"That has nothing to do with it, Niklaus," the Original winced lightly at hearing his full name from his best friend, "I don't want my son to become a murderer."
"This isn't murder," Klaus snapped, rushing forward to grab her arms so they were face to face, "he's responsible for the deaths of two of Sirius's closest friends and almost got that little kid not twenty feet away from us, killed."
"I want the bastard dead, Nikky, don't doubt me for a second," Alyss growled, "But I would prefer that my Siri wasn't the one to get blood on his hands."
"He needs to do this himself, Alyssandra, otherwise-"
"Otherwise what?" Alyss snarled, looking every bit the mama wolf she really was.
Klaus sighed and hugged his taller sister, "If you, Rebekah or any of my brothers were killed, Alyss, I would need to feel the one who was responsible's blood on my hands and having someone else do it wouldn't be enough."
The woman sighed through her nose and closed her eyes. She knew even if she tried to stop Sirius and Nikky, she wouldn't be able to.
And honestly, who was she to try and deny her son from taking the life of someone who had destroyed his?
Alyss held up her forefinger in her brother's face, "You swear you're not forcing him into this?"
He actually had the balls to look offended as he placed a hand over his heart, "Ouch."
She scoffed a small laugh and palmed his face away with a slight smirk. Then a serious expression washed that smile away, "You will take care of him?"
Klaus smiled and hugged her, "With my life, Alyss. With my life."
"You're immortal, you dolt."
"Exactly."
