Alyss vamp sped to her room and snatched the little toy dog on her bed stand right as Elijah walked in with a look of confusion on his face. She glanced at him, "I'll be right back," the blonde looked down at the black dog and murmured, "Godric's Hollow."
That uncomfortable sensation that one feels when activating a portkey, tugged at her stomach and suddenly, Alyssandra was in front of the ruins of a cottage, literally falling to pieces. The woman raced into the room where she could hear her son's heartbeat.
And there he was...
Curled up onto a ball, cradling a crying baby, in the corner of what seemed to be the baby's nursery.
Her blue eyes darted to the red haired woman sprawled out across the carpet, dead and Alyss didn't have to guess that this was Lily Potter and the body downstairs in the hallway, was James, her son's best friend.
Sirius's watery, silver eyes were glistening with tears but dull with sorrow. He looked up, sensing her and a sob left his throat, immediately making Alyssandra gather him up in a comforting hug, the whimpering baby between the two.
The woman hushed him and the child, wiping away a tear from her son's face. The pair then tensed when heavy footsteps began to ascend the stairs, heading their way.
The black haired wizard buried his face into his mother's colder as she snarled at the large figure that filled the doorway, her hybrid face on full display.
"Wha' the-"
Alyssandra brought the toy dog to her lips once and whispered, "Home."
And they were gone.

Elijah was wide eyed when Alyssandra suddenly vanished in a swirl of colour, but more shocked when she appeared not even five minutes later, supporting a young man and a small child.
Not even stopping to think, the Mikaelson vamp sped over to assist, taking hold of the black haired man and guiding him towards the large couch in the living room. He struggled slightly, however, which wasn't a surprise, seeing as the young man was Alyss's son.
He tried to turn, to keep his silver eyes on the child that had fallen asleep in his mother's arms. After seeing him, Sirius, Elijah guessed his name was, relaxed and allowed the Original Vampire to sit him down.
The Mikaelson sat on the opposite chair and Alyss seated herself beside her son, their thighs touching.
Elijah watched the two as Sirius took the child from the blonde's arms, then laid his head in his mother's lap, where she began to care her fingers through his raven coloured locks.
It was then that the suited Original noticed the tear stains, tracking down Sirius's face, "What happened, Alyss?"
The woman sighed and scratched the top of her head with a single finger, her face scrunched up with bitterness before she revealed, "I found him clutching the baby, with his two best friends lifeless in the home. James in the front hallway and Lily in the nursery."
Their attention fell to Sirius as a faint snore sounded from his mouth provoking a loving smile from Alyss.
"You might say he looks like his father, Alyssandra," Elijah smirked lightly, "but I can definitely see you in him."
The blonde's face lit up at the compliment then turned her gaze down to Sirius and the slumbering baby laid out on his chest, "I'll put them in his room and we can go from there."
The Mikaelson nodded with a deep breath.
Finally.
Finally!
Klaus would whole and their family could be together.

Just as Alyssandra had placed pillows around the baby that she had yet to find the name of, Sirius stirred.
The blonde sped around to the other side of the bed to cup his cheek as his silver eyes opened to meet hers, "Mum..."
"Shh, my love. I'm here now. You're safe," her tone of voice then dropped to a slight growl, "No one will touch you or the child, I swear on my life."
He gave her a watery smile before his eyes slid shut, falling into a dreamless slumber.
Alyss gently kissed his forehead, gave him a lingering glance of love, then walked quietly out of the room to find Elijah leaning against a wall in the hallway while wearing an almost proud expression, "You make an incredible mother."
"Strange, isn't it?"
The Mikaelson's head tipped a little, "How so?"
"I never knew my mother, dear one. She ran from us when she found out that my father was a wolf and I had the potential of being one as well."
"I'm sor-"
"Don't be, Lijah. My mother was a coward and I wanted to be nothing like her."
Elijah nodded, "And you have succeeded, Alyss, you're nothing like her at all."

"When shall I inform Niklaus that the doppelgänger is here in Mystic Falls?" The Mikaelson asked, unbuttoning his jacket as he sat down.
"Perhaps let me understand what Sirius is going through. I know he lost two close friends, I just need to find out why and what I can do." Alyss breathed, upset that her baby was upset, "and if I know my son, he will be very, very angry and very, very vengeful when he wakes."
Elijah snorted, "I believe it runs in the family."
The blonde stifled a laugh with a grin.
