As Elijah climbed out of his car, followed closely by his brother, he could sense from the driveway, that she wasn't home. But Minerva and Sirius were, along with a gurgling Harry.
Klaus was beside him in a second, "I can feel some very strong magic, dear brother. Have you found some Core Witches to do your dirty work?"
"Always the paranoid one," the older Original rolled his eyes, "You won't be able to come in just yet as she's out at the moment."
"Oh? Is she a Core Witch as well?"
An amused look fell on Elijah's face, "No, Niklaus, she is so much more."

Something about Alyss had made Remus blurt out his whole life story and after doing so, he had blushed, averting his eyes, afraid she'd act like every other person he knew, besides four others, and she'd just be disgusted by him, terrified and rushing to escape the monster that was himself.
"I haven't met a bitten wolf in many centuries," the young werewolf looked up at her in shock. Her gentle voice was lightly amused and oddly sympathetic.
"How can stand to be this close to me?"
A delighted laugh left her before she flashed him her own golden eyes.
Remus wanted to smack his forehead. He should have known. Should have been able to sniff her out, but with his raging emotions, he was too miserable and distracted.
"I always thought Sirius smelled like a wolf because of his animagus."
Alyss shook her head, "I'll tell you something," she then leaned in, like she was about to reveal the secret of life itself, "Bitten werewolves, are actually lost lines of born werewolves that have not killed anyone and being bitten by an Alpha of a pack, reawakens their curse."
The young wizard was malfunctioning.
"You're not cursed, love," the blonde smiled at him, "You were meant to be a wolf."

"Sirius," Elijah walked up to the front door with finesse, his nephew opening it slightly with a raised eyebrow, "We have a guest."
The silver eyed wizard peered at the man standing beside him, "Who's he?"
His brother looked offended, actually putting a hand on his chest.
"This is Niklaus. He's here to see your mother," the suited Original's lips quirked. Just like his mother.
The face of recognition slapped itself on the young Black's face, "Oh, so you're my Uncle Nik?"
The dirty blond blinked and then slowly turned his head to Elijah, "What?"
Niklaus's older brother was smug as all hell, knowing something he definitely didn't.

"Let me take you away from this place. I know you hold many memories here, Remus, all of them spectacular, but now..."
"It's a..." the young werewolf's lip quivered and he closed his eyes to quell the stinging of tears, "Its a nightmare."
Alyss drew him into another hug, "I know you will be miserable here without your friends, lonely, without your pack. So come with me."
The young werewolf's eyes darted between her bright blue orbs, filled with empathy and need to help him. He found himself nodding slowly, "Okay."
She took the small dog from her pocket and whispered, "Home."

All eyes, except for a certain baby, turned towards the kitchen, Elijah following Sirius and Minerva into the house and leaving Klaus, who huffed at being abandoned, at the door.
"Mooney!" Sirius plucked his best friend from his mother's arms, hugging him tightly. The Black didn't realise how much he needed to see Remus after...Peter.
"Padfoot," the young werewolf murmured, "Its good to see you."
"Good to see you too, mate. C'mon, I'll take you to Harry," Sirius pulled Remus away, who shot a small, grateful smile over his shoulder at Alyss.
"Elijah. Minerva," the blonde grinned at the two before she frowned at the looks on their faces, "What's wrong?"
"You have a visitor, Alyssandra."

Klaus perked as he heard the familiar voice.
And his eyes widened when he heard a very familiar name.

Elijah's face was blank and Minerva's lips were pulled taught, looking at the Original standing beside her. If his...brother even thought about harming these four people she held dear, she'd hex him so viciously the creature would wish he could die.
"He's here."
Alyss's face lit up with glee, but a sudden bubble of dread burst in her stomach, "What do you think he'll do?"
"He's always been unpredictable."

The man of interest was pushing at the front doorway, struggling to hear the woman's voice, searching through a thousand years of memories for where he had heard it. Klaus was starting to give up and just see who she was, when in the second, in front of him stood the one person that he had missed more than his little brother.
"Alyss..?"
